Good replacement
Purchased because chrome ring was rusting. It wasn’t as difficult to replace as I thought other than the ring itself as very snug. But they look great! Much better in black.

Does not fit oem or Trucklite style lights
They DO NOT fit OEM headlights or Trucklite style lights. Too small initiallyTo get them to fit, I had to cut the bottoms so they'd fit over the headlights. Tabs still lined up with the bracket and still very solid. Just has a 1/2" gap on the bottom. But they do look better than my flimsy, rusted chrome retainers. If you're ok with cutting, and you have either style light mentioned, then these are definitely nice. Wish they made them a bit larger.

Fit like a glove.
I was skeptical because of some of the review but it fit perfectly on my 2011 rubicon. I do have aftermarket lights (cheap from what I can tell. They were on it when I bought it). The coating is a slightly textured black.

These do not fit OEM headlight or aftermarket LED 7" for 2010 Jeep JK
I bought these to replace the OEM chrome retainer rings for my white 2010 Jeep JK Unlimited Sport. I was upgrading to Morimoto Sealed 7 2.0 LEDs with a new black grille and wanted to eliminate the chrome. These Hooke Road retainer rings do not fit around the new LED headlights, (very close, but a bit too small). I went back and checked and they also do not fit around the OEM headlights. The tabs do line up with the headlight bucket and the finish is pretty good, but since they don't fit around the headlight they are pretty much useless......

Inexpensive Mod That Really Makes a Difference
**Review for the Opar 7-inch Round Headlight Mounting Bracket 2-pk - manufacturer #X00165FT01**I love my Jeep, but there are a few parts on it that well, just suck. The mounting brackets around the headlights are one of them. Mine have rusted within a year and looked horrible next to my new LED headlights. This product puts the finishing touch on any headlight mod. The quality is much better than the OEM aluminum and they are black. Sold ring, no gap at the bottom. Perfect fit for my 2016 JKU.Get all 4 screws started then tighten down for a perfect fit. If you do not have a T15 torx, you can use an allen ('L') wrench. I have a crap-ton of them from other products I put together over the years. There aren't many inexpensive upgrades for Jeeps but this one is a must for the $16 cost.

Worked as expected
Needed some black rings to go with my new headlights. These worked great, fit a little snug but no issues.

Great stuff
Not much to say. They fit great as my cheap after market ones with two verticle bars were rusting apart, actually crumbling. These seem to be much higher quality and cheaper.

Perfect Fit
While changing my headlights on a 2008 Wrangler JK I broke a tab off of both rings. These arrived quickly and were an exact fit.

Best bang for your buck replacements
After 10 years my oem bezel a had rusted and a couple of tabs broke off. These were a bit tight on the install but if you take you're time you'll be just fine. The black looks great, and they are a one piece design, unlike the oem ones.
