Super useful!
Wow, even if I ignored the entire section about retirement destinations, the first 1/2 - 2/3 of the book had really clear, sensible advice about how to invest wisely and how to make your savings work for retirement. Great common sense info! I've always felt overwhelmed when I tried to learn about investing before and felt like I had to pay someone who spent years in college learning about it. Now I feel confident that I can make smart, solid decisions on my own. I wish I'd read this 25 years ago!

I highly recommend this life changing book!
I didn’t know much about personal finance 11 years ago. I successfully paid off my credit cards every month as well as my starter home mortgage on a small salary as a 1/2 time Kindergarten teacher alongside some great side hustles. But I didn’t know the first thing about saving to invest and build wealth. In fact, I didn’t even believe that I was worthy or could do it myself. Thankfully Andrew’s book Millionaire Teacher came into my life. It was just what I needed to start building my financial literacy and get started with investing at the same time. Thank you Andrew! Fast forward to today and I am still turning to Andrew’s humorous and informing books as a millionaire teacher myself! Millionaire Expat has supported me as I’ve moved around the world with a continually growing dream. Now I am looking at partial retirement at the age of 50! This book as great advice for this depending on which area of the world we want to retire in. You can do it too, just buy this book and start today!

Great book!
Millionaire Expat: How to Build Wealth Living Overseas has been an insightful and invaluable read. This book offers a fascinating perspective on managing finances globally. It's an excellent resource for those considering living abroad. The strategies presented are practical, well-researched, and easy to understand, even for someone new to international finance. I appreciate how the author demystifies investing, taxes, and wealth-building, empowering readers to take control of their financial future. This guide has enriched my knowledge and provided valuable lessons to share with my children and grandchildren. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking financial independence, whether at home or abroad!

Take control of your investing/retirement with 100% confidence!
All I can say is "BRAVO, Andrew!" After having read Millionaire Expat, I feel like I have an idea of what many people come into reading that book feel like. I thought I was going to have to learn how to "read the market" and track patterns if I wanted to control my own destiny, but I realized more and more that it's all about crafting a diverse portfolio of index funds and/or ETFs with low cost expenses that fit your current risk tolerance and the future thereof. In the book, Andrew does such an awesome job hammering this concept home with countless examples and witty humor to boot.I'm convinced many, MANY investors have their heads screwed on backwards (or at least off kilter) when it comes to retirement planning. This book will get you realigned if you heed Andrew's advice therein.

Great for future expats & digital nomads
I learned more about the stock market and investing than some youtube videos by reading this book. Also, I enjoyed learning about the different countries and the facts/opinions the author shared about each country. This is a must read for any person desiring to retire early, move abroad, work remotely, or travel often. After reading this book and also taking time to explore my skills, I've learned what my passion is and now by reading this book, I have created a plan for myself & began committing more to invest in myself and future than I ever did before.Awesome read!!!!

Ok book but not for experienced investors
If you don’t know much about investing and saving this book is very helpful. There are some good pieces of advice. But it doesn’t quite fit if you have some background. But a few nuggets make it worth buying.
