It's perfect for doing fine lines and adding a bit of shine.

I use these to trace the patten when working with my stain glass. It dries quickly and does not come off when grinding the glass.

I wrote a book with this and only used one pen with ink left on it! I read a review where the ink didn’t last but that was not the case for me, though I did shake it from time to time it stayed perfect. The gold was a perfect color over the thick paper. No smear and it dried out pretty fast. I’d buy again for sure if I needed to!

Needed a marker to show on black wedding invitation envelopes and these worked wonderfully. Wish they had a more fine marker tip but the color was so vibrant and I got many compliments on the envelopes.

I use these for price tags so I can write a lot of information in a small space. No smearing, bleeding and the ink dries fast. Keep the cap on when not in use and don’t press hard when using them.

I usually love these pens. The color is so rich. But I got a bad batch with these and they just leak out the sides and make a mess so I have had to toss them all......Big waste of money.

I love the gold in this pen and it covers really nicely over watercolour doodle work.

It dries very quickly on paper , very consistent, smooth flow. the lines are neither thick nor thin.

Compared with golden sharpies, these Sakura pens work a heck of a lot better! Though they lose a point for being very dry to start with (it took me forever to figure out how to get the ink to flow properly), once they get going they're usually very smooth. Just push in the tip and/or shake the pen. Be wary as this will occasionally get a whole droplet of ink out rather than just wetting the nib! But perhaps this can be used to your advantage for small cracks/crevices... The colour itself shines really nicely once dried, much better than the gold sharpies I've tried previously. It genuinely looks like gold, metallic and very, very slightly dull like a polished golden ring. As other reviews have mentioned, the nibs can occasionally fall out. They're double sided, so if you ruin one end (like I did by paining the page edges of some books), you can just swap to the other side. as long as you're paying attention it should be no issue.
