Worked like a charm
Worked perfect for rebuilding my Mercruiser Bravo III Trim Cylinders. Beats buying a special spanner wrench #91-821709T to remove end cap

Works Well
Easy to use and sturdy, sure it's not invincible but it worked on a nut that broke a conventional spanner so it's not weak.

Good quality
delivered on time and packaged good. I have not used them yet but they look like they should work.

Worked just fine...
I was worried about some reviews on several gland nut wrenches, but this worked well. I needed to rebuild a trim cylinder on my ‘95 Mariner OB, that hasn’t been off in 25 years. The only adjustment I made was to loosen the set screws and extend the pins so they bottomed out in the holes on the cap (just a little bit deeper). I used a 1/2” breaker bar and put my shoulder to it. Came loose nicely, nothing broke, slipped or came apart, bolt didn’t shear nor pins bend. Sturdy little tool!

High quality product.
This OTC gland wrench appears to be very good quality. I've used it twice to remove a gland nuts from hydraulic cylinders. Made the task an easy job. Wrench already has paid for itself. This IS NOT a knockoff product. It's a true OTC item.

It's tiny and lacks in quality.
It's quite small so I'm not very confident it's going to work. It's specs say it will service up to 3-3/4" and my swing cylinders are 3-1/2" so it is supposed to fit. But it sure does look too small...One of the pins is not centered in the tool, leaving one side quite short and prone to slip out, and the other side too long and weakened.I'll give it a shot (if I can center the pin) and update my review according to the outcome. To be honest my expectations are not very high.

Worked to remove JD piston gland
I bought this to remove the gland holding an old John Deere compact backhoe dipper piston, 2.5" diameter. Reading the reviews, I didn't have high expectation (it had been on for over 25 years), but I was surprised when it broke the gland free easily. Not cheap to purchase, but worked great for my needs. Will stay in my toolbox, end up getting pushed way in the back & buried, but some day when I need it, I am confident it will work (after I curse for an hour because I can't find it!)

NOT STRONG ENOUGH - BROKEN FIRST USE
I bought this tool to remove a gland nut from a 3" hydraulic cylinder. The tool immediately failed using just an 18" breaker bar. The pins are held in the tool by set screws. The set screws tend to loosen when torque is applied, as a result the pins are easily lost. The wrench is not thick enough to prevent the breaker bar drive head from protruding through. As a result it is impossible for the wrench to be placed flush on the end of the gland nut. This makes the tool dangerous to use because the tool can easily come out of the holes on the gland nut. I have many OTC tools and have been impressed by their quality. Unfortunately, this is one OTC tool I wouldn't recommend.

The bolt that keeps it together snapped off. Should use a higher grade bolt.
