Bought this for my granddaughter who was running cross country and was experiencing knee problems. The doctor recommended icing and I ordered this item. It helped immensely and I would recommend to others.

I like these ice packs. They stay in place making it much easier for me to get the relief I need. They are nice alternatives to bottled pain killers.

Personally, It does NOT stay cold for long enough. I've used it several times on my knee now and it adequately cools my knee for about 8 minutes before it loses its chill. I pulled my meniscus and I recommend buying a larger or cooler ice pack if you're athletic.
