High quality tuners, rock solid
Smooth tuning. Stay in tune. This is a locking tuner so if you screw the thumb wheel out to the limit (but not beyond because you might damage the screw or break it off) you can lube both the worm gear and the main gear inside.I dip a tooth pick in the grease and put it on the gears inside the tuner. Looking inside it looks like brass gears. I lubed it with lubriplate, a Lithium based grease. I suspect all geared tuners use brass gears so lubing with Lithium grease is a very good idea. It also helps to give the tuner that silky smooth feel.I adjusted the tension with the philips head screws in the tuning knobs. Ultra-smooth tuning.I had to drill holes for the screws because the old tuners used a peg (Sperzel tuners) instead of a screw. No problem. I was very careful about drilling the correct size hole and using screw lube on the threads so I would not break or strip the heads any of the phillips head screws.Note on adjusting the screws that hold the knobs in place: Do not loosen these too much or the tuner will bind because it will allow the worm gear to pull outward slightly while the knob is rotated. You can see this happening if you look closely at the back of the tuner. For smooth operation the screw has to be pretty snug but not tight. You can judge this by rotating the knob and feeling the torque required. Using a string winder gives you the feel for it.The appearance of these gold tuners is right up there with my Grover and Schaller tuners on other guitars. Those tuners were over a hundred bucks.I love the Guyker 18:1 tuning ratio. It makes tuning more accurate and faster with the smaller knobs on 6 inline tuners. The Sperzals had only a 12:1 tuning ration which is to coarse for me, particularly with the smaller tuning knobs on a strat-style guitar (6 inline). I have found over the years that Guyker parts have just as good quality and life expectancy as the higher priced tuners. It's pretty surprising. Don't let the low price convince you that it's low quality. I don't know how they do it, but the quality is great. I found that to be true of all Guyker parts that I have purchased including Bridges, String Stops, and now tuners. So these days my first choice is Guyker and if they don't have what I need I look to the higher priced stuff. All the big name brands have much higher prices, but my experience is that the quality isn't any better than Guyker. Maybe i shouldn't say this because Guyker might raise their prices! I don't get paid for writing this review and am not afilliated with Guyker. I just appreciate high quality and affordable prices. I own about 22 guitars (kind of lost count) LoL. And I work on them all. I love working on guitars (and playing).

These are perfect
These tuners are great quality and work extremely well with my Electric Guitar. Install was perfect with no issues at all, I get the antique set and it goes great with the color of my guitar. I highly recommend this product.

Cheap, but they work
Fit into gotoh holes, look good. Turn nice. One of the tuners has a broken locking peg -- I think the threads are off on it. It still works and still locks, but it grinds and requires more force than the others.

Fender quality for less than half the price!
I've been a on/off working musician since I was 17 and playing guitar since I was 12 (41 now). I am amazed at how good some of the budget gear is these days. I got these for the Squire Debut Strat. They dropped right in, and hold tune just as well as the Fender locking tuners on my Player Plus Strat. This is the second set I bought by Guyker. I will continue to do so for every budget guitar I buy.

I was going to get PRS locking tuners…..
But I got these instead. 3rd set I’ve used and I’ve gotta say they stepped up the quality on these, not that I ever had issues before. But the 2 tone plus locking, PLUS a smooth gear turn means this guitar stays in tune now, period. The SE stock tuners were bad and needed constant adjustment. I haven’t moved anything but low E since I got it back a few weeks ago. And even those adjustments are minor

Good locking tuners at a great price if on a budget
I've bought a few sets of these tuners for personal guitar builds over the years and have had no problems. They work great and have stood the test of time, so far.

Direct drop in for LTD EC-256.
Perfect for LTD EC-256. The buttons are a bit smaller so I swapped them to the stock buttons. Looks and work awesome!! Very high quality product!! Definitely recommend!! (note: If you swap the buttons be careful you don't drop the washers on there.)

Decent tuner upgrade for my cheap guitar!
After fussing with sloppy tuners on my cheap Epiphone Les Paul Model E1 (Melody Maker), I decided to upgrade the tuners. After searching online, I decided upon these tuners due to many positive reviews and support of the manufacture. I received these tuners delivered as promised and installed them the moment they arrived. I had to increase the size of the mounting holes. I purchased a set of metric drill bits off of amazon and I used four bits successively to increase the holes. 8mm, 8.5mm, 9mm and finally 9.5mm. I then used a small dremel sanding drum attachment to just get the back side of the hole just right. I masked off both sides of the head to make sure I minimized any splintering and I took my time. I got a nice snug fit. I inserted them, lined them up properly and then inserted the tiny screw to hold them in place and then using a deep socket, I secured the pegs with the threaded inserts and washers. Turned out perfect. I put 6 of the old screws back into the left over holes from the old tuners so that I did not have unfinished little holes to deal with. It looks just fine that way and doesn't require any touch up at all. You really don't even notice the screws that are just hiding the holes. The tuners worked perfectly right out of the box. All turn nicely and are not too stiff or loose and the 18:1 turning ratio is great. The locking tuner part works well too. Do not over tighten them but rather just snug them up without a lot of force. The lock the strings well. Basically, if you pull the string through until it is mostly in place, lock it in and then tighten, you only need about 1/2 to 3/4 of a peg turn to get proper tuning. Snip the excess string wire accordingly. The quality does look decent!

Alles top

Nickel !
