***Updated Review***So, these speakers sound amazing. Nothing wrong with Sony after all. My problem was my old Samsung phone. It had terrible audio quality and now that I have upgraded to a Motorola with Dolby Atmos built in, it sounds way better. Even with the Dolby Atmos off, these still sound killer. Giving the speakers 5 stars now.*Original Review*Bought these to replace my stock speakers in my 2010 Honda Civic LX Coupe. Installation was easy. Make sure you get brackets that will support these speakers. Amazon stated "Fits: 2010 Honda Civic LX Coupe" but I had to drill screws into my doors/back dash to mount the speakers with the brackets. The sound is good but not very loud. I used an equalizer on my phone (PowerAmp) with my stock speakers and unfortunately still have to use it to make these speakers louder and add some mids and highs. There is some deep bass but at really low volumes. Once its cranked reasonably, it's gone but having the equalizer helps a lot. I should have spent a little more money on something else but since they were Sony's, a trusted brand, I thought I was doing the right thing. All in all, I think I could have stuck with my stock speakers but oh well these are staying in there.

Speakers are an improvement over the stock speakers. 0 bass response. If you want a little bass don't buy these.

They Fit in the front doors of my 2006 Honda Element perfectly. These were the only speakers that had large enough screw slots and the 16cm diameter, 3-hole mounting pattern to fit my car. Also, the tweeters sit flush with the speaker, not raised, so the factory grill fit perfect too. The sound awesome! I had no idea how bad my factory speakers had become until I damaged one replacing my power window regulator and got these! No added amp needed - Awesome.

I wanted to freshen up my 1999 OBS Tahoe and replace the original speakers. I originally ordered a set of Pioneer speakers and they were too thick for the rear doors of my Tahoe. These Sony fit perfectly and frankly they feel better made than the Pioneer, everything feels super solid. They sound pretty good relative to the price also.

I installed these speakers in my 2019 Malibu to replace the stock speakers. I did not add an amp or new head unit. These speakers add a slight volume increase, but the clarity is much better than the base speakers. Pretty much exactly what I was expecting for the purpose.Edit: the first set started making popping sounds so I got a replacement. Those speakers also started making popping sounds so I installed bass blockers. The overall sound was completely neutered by them and the rattling didn't stop. I love Sony but these are not it. Ended up replacing all four speakers with cerwin Vega xed62s and couldn't be happier. 🤷‍♂️

Awesome sound for the price. I recommend to anyone on a budget or not to look into these for replacement speakers.
