Flip Your Writing Workshop: A Blended Learning Approach

I really like the premise of this book, that you can organize your writing workshop in such a way that every student can have their needs met. That is hard to do but with the ideas the authors share it may be possible. Anyway, I like the advice and how-to of using simple technology to make it happen. I will definitely put these ideas to the test in my writing class this year.

The chapters tend to get repetitive after the first 2-3, but has forms and suggestions to start flipping your writing workshop. I was already doing flipping using other peoples resources, but this made it easy to take the plunge and flip my own lessons. The kids are amazed and think I'm youtube famous since I post my handwriting lessons there.

So helpful in adding technology to those well-know Writer's Workshop publishings that lack an up-to-date digital piece. Thank you! Immediately usable and love the QR "squares" for quick access to lesson features and examples.
