LED Kit Fit & Looks Great On Mine
I used with a clear green case. I also used 3M mounting square to locate LED ring on DVD-ROM drive, plus removed XBOX logo jewel from old case and sanded-off green paint backing to make it frosted clear (super glued on two small raised points to fasten it to new case cover).

Doesn't work
LED did not work when connected to power. I even tested it by connecting straight to a power source
