Useless
Just about copes with one A4 80gsm sheet if you put it through manually. Any more than that 2 sheets or more jams - the auto pick up is equally useless and stops after one sheet. Had it one year and its never been great nut now totally useless. Would be quicker if I cut up the paper with scissors - I kid you not!

Decent shredder if you have lots of A4 to shred
The media could not be loaded. If all you need to shred is A4 paper, and lots of it, this might be the machine for you. Load it up with up to 300 sheets, and it'll happily destroy them, one sheet at a time, automatically. It took less then two minutes to shred ~60 pages for me. So probably about 10 minutes for a full load. Can run for an hour before needing a cool-down period. Bin needs emptied every 700 sheets or so. And the blades need oiled every 3 bin emptyings. The description says it can shred credit cards, yet the warnings on the feed slot suggest otherwise. However, after checking with the manufacturer, and doing a test, it does actually shred cards. But you do need to feed them into the shredder by hand, with the top cover open, which is a little inconvenient. It does not shred CDs. (You'll just need to rely on the fact that nobody uses them any more for your GDPR security needs.) There is no separate plastic collection bin, so recycling can be a little bit more difficult than it should have been with a machine this size and price. The lid is very stiff. I needed to use both hands to open it.Overall, it's a decent shredder. It makes destroying a lot of confidential A4 documents at once an easy task, and is fairly quiet.Remember to claim your cashback if you buy one. (Rexel regularly has a "GDPR cashback deal" going. I bought mine in Autumn 2021, and the current deal that gives you £60 off a 2000300M lasts until December.) A little research suggests that they had a similar deal in 2017. And I presume this deal will be resurrected fairly regularly if not continually, so will probably be available when and if a future buyer decides to get one of these. But you do need to claim from the manufacturer, so just Google "Rexel cashback offer", and I'm sure you'll find the right site.

Good while it lasted!
We are a small-medium sized office and have had this since September 2021. However, over the past few weeks the machine started to play up by not switching off the shredder after use. The sensor must be faulty. Also ... the compartment that shreds paper does not thread the paper through so we can only use by placing paper in the top.Have just called amazon support to see what we can do and got cut off so will try again and update. Its great while it works but a shame its already started to go wrong 9 months down the road.
