This product, while sold under the "Smart Buy" brand, is really just a subsidiary of RITEK and so their quality is UNMATCHED!!!! EXCELLENT QUALITY! It does exactly as advertised and i have not had 1 problem yet with any disc. Everything works and does as is expected. I love this product and i will be buying much more from this brand and seller many more times over again! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED over ANY OTHER brand, except Verbatim (who are still THE BEST)!!!! The presentation of the writing area on the discs themselves is a bit lacking -- but very informative and allows one to remember later what kind of media they ended up burning it on. I just prefer a larger writing area without their own factory-printed and unremovable label text getting in the way ... This is the only downside to this product and it is a petty minor complaint at that. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT, other than that 1 petty factor.

So far so good. They burn well, I will change this if I encounter any problems. The only thing I don't like is the shiny surface but I can live with it for the price.

Works good for a dual fvd

I am the 'tech guy' at church. I have been running our online (Zoom) outreach since the Sunday morning after Session decided to stop in person worship at the beginning of the Pandemic. I record and create DVDs of the Zooms so that our shut-ins who do not have internet access can still be a part of worship. I needed a high capacity disc when both the Sunday before Christmas, and Christmas Eve services had so much music that the services ran long. I was very pleased with the recording time, ease of use with my Blu-Ray burner, and the software I use to edit and create the DVDs. Many folks will enjoy our musicians now who would not have previously. I even edited out the music from both services to create discs of only the music!

Don't buy these DVDs it's a waste of your money they sold me a bunch of dvd's that don't even work

was looking dvr with bigger space and picked this. quality is great, no problem with recording quality, burning or speed, works great.

I tried to burn a movie I had for years; to have as a backup due to scratches etc and it failed. 5 attempts and 5 fails. I use DVD Fab 12 (64 bit) program, It would recognize the burnable media transfer disk but it would fail the burn. I would not starting burning. Been a long while since I had something like this happen. Guess I'll just have to cut my loses and shop around for another brand. Buy these type of blank disk at your own risk.

I recommend burning 4X like old times cds when it comes to smart buys, for some reason on 6X I’m getting bad burns, tried with 2 pcs and 2 different burners, same thing and some discs have hard dust smudge on the edge.. tsk.
