This kit is a great deal at $31 and was the most complete kit that I found for the price. The flashlight is a handcrank, so you don't have to worry about keeping the batteries charged. The multi-tool pliers is a nice compact way to fit all the tools. It comes with the items pictured, not what is on the packing list that is included with the kit. These items are: carry bag, 8ft booster cables, plier multi-tool (not a slotted screwdriver and Phillips screwdriver as listed on the packing sheet, however those tools are in the multi-tool), two 12 hour light sticks, 14 cable ties, 2ft bungee cord, hand squeeze flashlight, mylar emergency blanket, rain poncho, pair of work gloves, electrical tape, tire pressure gague, hazard triangle and safety whistle (both not on list), "I am Sig" window cling, First Aid items (adhesive strips, gauze pads, cleansing toweletts, triple antibiotic ointment packet, adhesive tape). To complete my car kit I threw in some water, a fire extinguisher, fix-a-flat, a shop towel (listed on the kit packing sheet, but not included), sterile gloves for the first aid kit, and some power bars, all of which also fit in the bag. I also bought a $10 tow rope from Walmart, which doesn't fit in the bag but I also want to keep in my car.

GREAT KIT- GREAT PRICE
I ordered this item as a gift for my grandson who just got his first car. After reading reviews on several other brands, I decided on Top Gear 66 piece kit. It arrived today and I can say that I am really pleased with this kit. First of all, the bag appears to be really sturdy and strong. All of the items in the bag also appear to be of good quality. I especially like the squeeze flashlight. It also has a safety vest and a rain protector. The battery cables appear to be of good quality I added a few things to the first aid kit. As one of the reviewers said, she added a can of fix a flat and a bottle of water. I plan to do that also. There is plenty of room in the bag for a few other items like a wrench or a couple of other small tool. As an added extra, I will throw in a gas gift card for that unexpected emergency! This kit is well worth the $35.00 I am glad that I always read the reviews before purchasing products. Thanks Amazon!

Good starter kit with room to customize
I've lost count of how many of these kits I've bought for my family's cars and gifted to other friends and family when they've turned 16, got a new car or were preparing for a long road trip.In general, I like the sense of security of knowing my loved ones at least have a minimal emergency survival, first-aid and auto repair kit with them. So far, no one has had to use their kits for anything more than a bandaid or temporary use of a bungee cord, so the kit never really had been put to the test.I always recommend going thru the kit in detail to know what all is there and how to use it. More importantly, I always add more items to my kit! The case has plenty of room for a few things: a few more survival blankets, full size tools if not in the kit (hammer, assorted screw drivers, magnetized extension rod), extra fuses and replacement light bulbs, battery cleaning supplies, your preferred survival knife, a quart of oil, sealed water packets, some granola bars sealed inside Tupperwear or layers of quality ZipLoc bags that can be used for countless things, and whatever items YOU might think are important or necessary based on your needs. Allergic to bee stings? Use an emergency breathing inhaler or epi-pen? Take needed daily meds? Keeping an extra emergency supply available could save a life or be the difference between misery or basic comfort until you're safe again.Bottom line: I would not keep buying this kit for family and friends if I didn't think it was a good, basic emergency kit. I just recommend customizing it and then checking it regularly, such as with changing seasons.

NICE KIT
I shopped several different types of these "very good to have in the car" kits from several different manufacturers and I think this one is the best, both in price and the items it contained. There are only two things that I thought it should have had in the kit: one is a "window breaker-seat belt cutter" and the other is a couple of flares. Both of these I bought separately and added to the kit.

Good for the price
Good stuff inside and I would consider it worth it for a road side emergency. I added Tylenol, Advil to the kit as it did not come with that but was not expected inside. Also added a foldable tire iron I got from WM and fit inside the bag exactly as the ones that come with vehicles are terrible. Lastly added some a couple of dry bags in case need to walk somewhere and need to carry things. The kind that are made out of nylon and roll up with a carry strap on top.Hope I never have to use but nice to know its in the trunk.
