This is a MUST read for Business Professionals
I read a lot of books, and most of the ones I choose to read, I love. But this book right here! This book right here though!! This book was nothing short of AMAZING! So amazing that I read it all in one day and I am getting ready to take my second pass through it to write down detailed notes. Granted, I was disappointed to learn that this was a fictitious story. I was thinking this was a memoir of an actual person the entire time up until I got to the end. The story wrapped up so perfectly that I thought to myself, there is no way this is a true story and lo and behold it wasn't. I am sure this was made clear somewhere in the beginning; I just missed it entirely. With all that aside, this book is still fantastic and incredibly relevant to business professionals of all sorts. I am moving into Real Estate and this book will be my GO TO strategy for my business. I was already selling like this back when I was a sales consultant for artificial turf. But I wasn't doing it at the level explained in the book that is loaded with genius tactics, acronyms, strategies, and more. I think I could write a book on how great this book is.My biggest love for the book is the catchphrase that I am not officially adopting to rid myself of procrastination forever. "Do It Now." I am definitely going to purchase the Do It Now wristband to remind myself that life waits for nobody. Whatever it takes to be successful, whatever needs to get done to accomplish my goals, I need to "Do it now."I am interested in the products that they have for sale on the website. The 7 Levels action guide to the book is $500! Currently, that seems a bit steep for me. But given that the information in the $10 book version on Kindle could literally make my 6 figures in Real Estate I am pretty sure the action plan is worth the money. They don't do a great job in selling it though.

The Author Tricked Me!
In this terrific book, the author, Michael J. Maher, had me turned upside-down and all around! When I first sat down to read this book, I was expecting another "dry," textbook type of read. I figured that I'd pick up a couple of things that I might be able to apply to my real estate business, and then move on to the next book, by whatever new author would be "making waves" at the time.Well...he tricked me!Almost instantly, he touched my heart, and made me take a look at my life...a sincere, heartfelt look...not one of those, "textbook-type," skim-over-it, because the author says to take a look. From there, I began reading a story...a compelling, page-turning story. I devoured the book...and finished it quickly...because I truly enjoyed the story. Once finished, I realized that he had tricked me into learning. Learning systems, scripts, and techniques that could (and have!) revolutionized my business! I read it again...and again.I believe that I've read it 6 times so far!Our team has implemented many of the things that were learned in "The Seven Levels of Communication," and we have plans to implement more! I regularly teach classes, and unfailingly ask who has read this book...and recommend it to any that haven't yet. This book is a game-changer! Regardless of what type of service business you operate! The book is real estate focused; however, it all applies to attorneys, doctors, dentists, accountants, landscapers, retailers, anyone really!I have purchased many copies, and have given them to everyone on my team, and to several others that I know would benefit from it's teachings.I excitedly look forward to Mr. Maher's future projects! In case you can't tell...I HIGHLY recommend this book!

Changed how I run my business.
My new business coach recommended that I read this book. Boy was I shocked when I saw the author's name...we went to high school together! That's two authors that I know of (I'm the other one) from Gardner Edgerton High School! Way to go Michael! This book is a must read if you struggle with making connections and maintaining relationships. That's me to a T! Since I love to write and podcast, I have a tendency to bury myself behind my screen and neglect my network. Then I go so long without contacting someone that I think, "It's been so long, if I call now, it'll be awkward." Thanks to Michael's book, now I know that's just "cockamamie!"After reading the first chapter, I have to admit that I was a little skeptical. I'm not much of a fiction reader and this book is written about a fictional character (sort of) who goes through a life transformation after attending a Jay Michaels seminar. But after the third chapter, I was hooked. I couldn't wait to learn one more tidbit from "Coach" and find out if Rick gets the girl in the end or not. There's lots of valuable lessons to learn from this book, but I think the most important one is the concept of 1st & 10. You make 10 phone calls to your contact database first thing in the morning. Who you call is based on the call schedule you put together. I've already started creating my schedule and I'll start calling as soon as I'm back in town. The world runs on connections. If you don't have any or very many, your world doesn't run. Get this book and learn what makes some people so successful while others toil away in anonymity.
