I go through cases like mad. So I need fresh ones now and then. I decided to give this one a go at it and its pretty ok as far as drops go, My phone took a few hits from the hip and survived fine. I do use a glass screen protector. the lip was right up against the glass. The case is composed of 2 parts, an inner softer cover, than a harder, still flexable outer shell. not hard brittle cracking plastic ones.Some things I did not like about this was its way too thick. The added thickness was for the USB drive integrated into the case. Nice, but not sure the extra bulk, I could stick one on my keys. It a little stiff to pull out of the case but secure. It would have been nice if it could have been integrated into kick stand or something. Its also not that fastest as far are writes goes.I sent 61 files of little less than 16 gigs and took 45 minutes. its a lot of data and if you need to Mission impossible transfer quick, this would not be your first choice. so thats about 4.5-5megs/sec. I wanted to like this. But it's so inconvenient. Get a wireless flash drive instead. This requires that you buy another device if you want to use it directly with your phone. Otherwise you must use a PC to transfer data to and from the memory card.
