I haven't purchased a lot of these boxes personally, but in my previous jobs, we've often mounted RF radios, cameras, and the like for various deployments. In short, I've got some experience with weatherized junction boxes and mounting equipment... And what I can say here is, this is a high quality product, worthy of the price. From the grounding/bond wire connection between the lid and the box itself, to the accompanying drilling template sticker - just slap it where you want the box to go, drill as indicated, and BOOM, done... It's just really well thought-out for a product of this type (typically, you'd get something similar with no templates, no instructions, etc - which IS fine for a professional who does it every day... It's just nice to see those sorts of little touches to help out the very occasional project worker.Came with all the screws, anchors, etc that would typically be needed... But since I was drilling in brick, I just used my own 3/16" Tapcon screws, which baaaarely fit the mounting holes, but went in SOLIDLY, and really grabbed on tight. I have no worries about this sucker coming off my chimney anytime soon.Wasn't paid to write this, just a guy who is thoroughly impressed with what he got, having had few big expectations initially. If I need to mount any more IP cams, I will definitely be on the lookout for this box, it just makes everything SOOOOOO much easier.

This is a high-quality product. The Reolink camera RLC-410 mounts perfectly. All of the wires fit inside the box. The only consideration here is that if you want a watertight seal through the side and want to use a patch cable that is terminated with a booted connector (like the one supplied with camera), you MAY need a little modification. The Reolink supplied cable has a wide boot that won’t slide through the supplied gland, or water-tight fitting. I actually used different, shorter cables as my runs were way less than 50 ft. The patch cables I used had a narrower boot that fit perfectly. You could probably shave down the boot on the supplied cable and the cap on the supplied gland and make it all work, and get a water tight seal when you tighten the nut. Using unterminated cable and crimping on your own connector presents another issue. Without a boot you will need to beef up the cable where it goes through the gland as the minimum diameter cable it will seal is 10mm cable and bare Ethernet cable is only about 5 mm. You can add electrical tape or heat wrap to that small area of the cable that goes through the fitting to get a watertight seal when you tighten the gland fitting.Other than the Reolink supplied cable being slightly too large to fit through the waterproof fitting, which a bit of modification can overcome if you chose to use it, this box meets all your needs for a great install. If you are up to the task of installing your cameras, it is not a big deal.The box looks like it comes with the Reolink cam. It’s just right and heavy duty. Even has a cable to hang the lid (and attached cam) for when you’re working inside a mounted box.

I ordered this box for the install of my reolink cameras and as shown by the pictures they fit perfectly. I tested this with the reolink-410 (pictured) and it works great! Unfortunately it does not fit the reolink-420 fixed dome camera as the hole patterns do not line up. I used PG16 nylon connector which didn't easily screw into the base but it provided a tight, waterproof connection.I grabbed the box because I needed a way to hide the 3 wire pigtail that hangs off these cameras and for the cameras to be mounted just off the house. I will note that the pigtail is tight inside the box and there isn't much room for anything else, but not too tight that everything doesn't fit. I also didn't want to spend as much per a box as the other ones available on Amazon so this box fit the price range for me since I needed to purchase 6 of them. The box DOES NOT come with the nylon wire seal I've shown pictured, but I was able to purchase those separately for 5$/20. The camera does come with (4) mounting screws to attach the camera to the base and (3) screws/anchors for attaching to the home.
