I'd like to break this review down into 2 parts. One for the product and one for the customer service.Product:This camera has great quality. I've posted some pictures of the camera quality here and I have the camera mounted on my front gate facing the dirt road. In the distance there are mountain views which other camera I've tested had poor quality.Now with the camera mounted about 15ft high it doesn't do a great job with reading license plates but that's to be expected. Don't let it deter you from buying one of these because this has a few features that are really helpful.Before putting this up I had major issues with people on quads riding down the dirt trails and blowing dust everyone which would be all over my vehicles. I live in Arizona so this is to be expected but this is a private road and people should not be speeding down the road on quads.Well I installed this camera as well as a security camera sign(see pictures) and the quad traffic has drastically dropped! Just installing this has made a HUGE difference! I believe the really bright LED lights the come on when an object passes is the biggest reason quad traffic has slowed down. Its clearly known at night now that quadders are being watched!Having the really bright LED lights is just a HUGE plus I can't get over how much this has helped because it makes itself known much better than just a flashing light which this camera does have.The LED light and flashing light can be turned on or off at anytime through the app as well. Meaning of you don't want the lights on because maybe you'd prefer to hide your camera you can completely shut these features off.App:Okay so I have tried a Solium solar panel in the past and the difference between the app is night and day vs the Solium camera.I'd say something that the other camera didn't have which was important to me was the ability to download videos from the app straight to the phone WITHOUT having to pay for cloud service. This is so handy for putting these video files on to your computer to either touchup the lighting or email it to law enforcement or friends/family.The app is very clean and works great. I have not had lagging or bugs with the CTRONICS app as I have with other camera apps.One downfall however is the fact that there is NO ONVIF support or a web portal. This is helpful to me because it would allow me to use TinyCam Pro on phone to see this camera along with my other cameras all in one place. On the flip side though, I am able to see all my ctronic cameras in this one app.I have a portable battery powered ctronics camera that unfortunately has its own app called Cloud Edge that I don't like. Thankfully this camera uses the same CTRONICS app that most of their cameras use.As much as I would love to have ONVIF support I do understand why it's not available. Since this camera goes into sleep mode when there's no motion having a remote connection wouldn't work. Otherwise the camera would be on 24/7.Night Vision:I have not been able to do many tests with night vision because I prefer the LED lights to turn on with motion. With the LED lights I can see in color at night. As soon as you connect to the camera the LED lights come on as well. However playing around a little with the night vision seems to work really well at 15ft high. I have no complaints.Microphone and Speaker:This is another huge plus! The microphone quality is just as good as any other camera I've used in the past but what really amazes me is the speaker on this thing. Using the CTRONICS app I spoke through the app to use the speaker on the camera and WOW! The speaker on this camera is WAY louder than any of the cameras I have INCLUDING other CTRONICS cameras I own. This is awesome because the camera is 15ft high and anyone would be able to clearly hear me speaking through the camera! Major plus for me!Battery Life:I've had this camera up for about 2 weeks now and I can't really so much about how long the battery will last but I can tell you I have a lot of traffic in front of my gate. From cars to quads this camera is constantly waking up and recording. Even at night the battery doesn't drop much at all and the next day the solar panel charges the battery back to full.Surprisingly the battery lasts much longer than the old Solium solar camera I had on the pole before which had 6 batteries.Guys and gals, this camera is well worth the money! It was so easy to setup with the CTRONICS app and I have nothing bad to say about this camera. Buy, buy, and buy more! They are well worth it! I currently have 4 CTRONICS cameras and they have ALL been great.Customer Service:CTRONICS has been awesome! From the very first camera I bought I've kept buying more of these. At one point I recieved a scratch card inside the second box and won a free sd card. I decided I'd email CTRONICS and see if they really would send me one for free. Well I never got the SD card BUT instead they sent me a battery powered camera which I currently have setup now.They have been so helpful with every question I've had that they have become my go to camera. Not only are the products well built but the customer service is amazing!Let me tell you if you have ANY issues with a product you bought from CTRONICS I GUARANTEE they will get you a replacement or help you get setup EVERYTIME. I'm telling you the customer service is just absolutely amazing.Thanks,MikeEdit: 5/6/2021 This camera has still been working amazing on the gate. Even with Arizona's harsh heat it's still holding up amazing. It's been so useful and has helped with a missing FedEx package. Overall I am happy with this purchase. The quality of the camera recordings is good. I am still experimenting with the best location to place the camera to get good nighttime recordings. The camera has the option to record sound.Solar charged batteries: I have the camera in the sun and the solar panels keep the battery charged. I have AA’s installed as a backup, but so far they haven’t been needed.You can view the camera feed and recordings from your phone at home or away, and no subscription service is required. There is a detailed log that tracks all camera activities such as Network Wake Up, Normal Standby, and Alarm Recordings. Most of this is system information and there is no additional information except for the Alarm Recordings, which are captured videos.When viewing the live camera feed options are available to immediately take photos and/or videos. Only during the live camera feed can photos be captured. Alarm Triggers will only capture videos. Also, during live viewing there is an ability to have a conversation. It is a little tricky since only one person can be talking at a time, but it is doable.There are two storage areas, one for Photos and one for Videos. All recorded videos are stored by date and time (military) and stored in the Online area of the SD card. Videos can be downloaded into the Local area of the SD card. Captured photos are immediately placed into the Local area. From the Local area photos/videos can then be downloaded to the Photos software on a phone or tablet. This seems redundant but I have a trail camera and the process is the same.NOTE1: There is no ability to delete files from the Online area of the SD card other than choosing the Format SD Card option in the SD Card Settings. The camera performs Loop Recording, which keeps recording photos and videos until all space has been used, then it will overwrite the oldest files. Downloaded files to the Local area of the SD card can be selectively deleted within the software.NOTE2: When performing the Format SD Card action, it will only delete the logs and recorded videos in the Online Area. If photos/videos are downloaded to the Local area these will not be deleted during the Format SD Card.Now that I have used this camera and know its quality, I am considering another camera, and it will definitely be a Ctronics.The software:The manual that comes with the camera explains the install process perfectly. Getting the camera on-line was quite easy.The software takes a bit of getting used to, but once you understand the process for viewing recordings, saving them, sending them to the photos app on the iPhone, it all seems quite easy now. Some trial and error and a little patience will give you good results. During experimentation there will be many photos/videos recorded. Using the Format SD Card option is a good way to eliminate all the tests. NOTE3: The software can monitor up to four cameras.Customer service:I had an issue when adding the software to a second device. I had changed the password and the 2nd device would not recognize the new password. I sent a message to Ctronics using their website. I got a very prompt response and we had a few email exchanges where Ctronics gave me detailed steps to fix the problem. All is working now with the software on 3 devices. 5 stars for customer service.

Leider muss ich ein paar Punkte abziehen. Wir haben die Kamera vor unserer Garage angebracht, um zu sehen wer sich auf unserem Grundstück vor unserem Haus aufhält.Die Kamera ist etwas träge in der Aufnahme. Die Garage ist direkt neben dem Haus und wenn ich um die Ecke gehe registriert die Kamera mich nicht so schnell und nimmt nichts auf. Wenn jemand von der Straße auf unser Haus zugeht nimmt die Kamera erst auf, wenn die Personen sich mind. 3 Sek. vor dem Haus aufhalten. Die Bilder sind bei Tageslicht farbig und sehr gut. Bei Nacht sind es schwarz/ weiß Bilder. Die Personen sind zu erkennen, doch ohne Farbe erschwert es die Zuordnung.Die Kamera ist mit Licht ausgestattet, so kann ich bei Bedarf die Lampe über das Handy anschalten und dann ist die Aufnahme bei Nacht wesentlich besser. Eine Sprechanlage ist auch vorhanden. Diese habe ich doch noch nicht gebraucht.Die Installation ist sehr einfach und die Kamera lässt sich einfach über das Handy steuern.Für den einfachen Hausgebrauch ist die Kamera zu empfehlen.

Malgré un peu d appréhension, cette caméra extérieure est facile à installer et également à programmer.Très bonne qualité d image (meilleure dans les enregistrements qu en lecture directe) mode infrarouge performant.Les notifications arrivent quasiment instantanément.Faible consommation du wifi, jamais de coupure (même habitant en campagne), se recharge en solaire ce qui permet de l installer partout facilement.Fonctionne parfaitement à 30 mètres de la maison.

Ho comprato questa telecamera principalmente per il fatto che si alimenta col pannellino solare.La telecamera in se, per il prezzo che ha, è di buona qualità, ma ha 2 che per me sono grossi difetti:- l'app è imbarazzante ... ci sono traduzioni che un ragazzo di terza media farebbe sicuramente meglio. Inoltre è veramente scarna. Per me che ho un'altra telecamera, di marca Yi/Kami, passare dall'app della Kami a questa, è deprimente.- l'altro grosso problema, è il sensore che serve per rilevare il movimento. Basta dire che mia mamma, 82 anni compiuti, stende i panni a 5 metri circa dalla telecamera. La maggior parte delle volte, mi arriva la notifica quando ha quasi finito. Ho provato a passare davanti con passo sostenuto, e non mi ha nemmeno rilevato.24/10/2022: aggiungo a quanto scritto in precedenza, che bisogna fare in ogni caso i complimenti all'assistenza. Si sono dimostrati molto competenti e disponibili a sistemare i problemi segnalati. Porto il mio giudizi da 3 a 5 stelle
