I was taking it easy b/c the floor was slippery, but I couldn’t find the vid we took outdoors… they go crazy for this thing and they never seem to tire of it; excellent quality; durable; the pole has weight to it and is sturdy; keeps them entertained until I get tired; they’ll play with it together and get super furious during tug-of-war. Really, this thing is great.DISLIKES: No dealbreakers, but the rope is like fleece blanket material so it is beginning to fray… the good thing is that you can attach whatever you want to the end of it to play with the dogs - they don’t care what it is, as long as it’s acting like prey and they can chase it; ISE CAUTION: if you leave your dog/s unsupervised with this toy, they may run the pole into furniture, walls, sliding glass doors, etc., and it could damage or break some items because the pole is hefty; as with any toy, if a dog is hellbent on destroying it, they will, so this is not impervious to your pup’s killer instinct or high prey drive, but it will definitely make them work for it. Haven’t played with a larger dog yet, but I imagine they’d dig it.As always, if anything changes, I will update this review.

Nothing to dislike. Extremely well made!! Worth EVERY penny. My pup (3 months young) goes ballistic over it, and we play twice/day. Friends that have 2 dogs turned me onto this. Buy NOW, you won’t be sorry 1 bit!

Well this is what the toy looks like after 18 days of playing with a 3 month old Belgian Malinois mix puppy who weighs about 30 lbs. This is his favorite toy! I just run it along the ground in front of him so he can chase it. He plays tug o war as well. It's pretty beat up after about 3 weeks of usage - maybe 15-30 minutes a day. The pole and rope *(see more below) is very strong. I don't care for the ergonomic part of the grip and find myself never aligning my fingers in it so I just hold below it. As others have mentioned the middle of the pole can come loose while playing but it hasn't been annoying enough for me to put locktite on it, I just tighten it every few minutes by hand. It would be better to have saved money on design and used a normal grip and add another replacement fleece rope to the package instead. It's kind of heavy too but I guess that's what makes it strong - it bends like a fishing pole when he pulls on it sometimes but only about an inch or so of curvature, it doesn't feel like it would break. The fleece rope toy portion isn't too delicate but once it starts to lose it's form it unravels quickly which is why I think the kit should include 2 for the cost. Replacements are available for a reasonable price (2 for $12.99) and I've ordered a few spares. I'm a little concerned about the rope loop that appears to be stitched together and then covered with a plastic shrink wrap of sorts. The plastic on mine has started to become shredded and will likely come off soon. It's hard to see from the angle that the rope is facing in the pic I took but you can see where the plastic is damaged and it's way worse on the other side of the rope where it only has about 50% coverage remaining. It looks like the stitching is pretty good though so hopefully the plastic isn't the main structural component of the rope loop. Decided to add a pic of the rope loop damage and stitching for reference. If your dog doesn't play fetch or even if they do I still recommend this toy.

Bought this for my 6.5lb Chiweenie and lol it’s more for a bigger dog. Should have bought a cat stick instead. It’s great quality though. The only thing is that I found it heavy to hold and play with for a long time. You’ll get an arm workout if you play to long with it. It’s like a heavy fishing pole.

My dog broke this in under a month of use. He loved it! sometimes that’s the nature of most loved dog toys :)

Absolutely would reccomend if your dog needs to be tired out.y girl loves this thing and enjoys chasing it. You definitely need to be into it too to get your pup to play. I love the sturdiness of the pole, the length of the cord and overall comfort of the grip on this thing. Also you could probably put all sorts of attachments other than the fleece braid it comes with to make it more enticing for your pup. Totally worth the money

Incredibly well built, no concern my dog will break it like every other tug/chase toy we have tried.

These was one of the first toys we bought our pup a red heeler who is very active and she is still playing with it daily 8 months later, great for a play when haven’t got time to go for a walk, she also drags it around and still intact although when she pulls now the handle comes apart from the rope but it fits back together

It’s heavier than other flirt poles out there, but because the rope is an attachment, I can replace it with rope from the hardware store when my dog chews through it, so it’s way more durable and cost effective than the other brands where replacing the rope isn’t possible. My dog loves it and getting a lot of use out of it so from her perspective it’s 5 stars.

Backyard play used to be jumping up at me. This toy made both of our playtime much more enjoyable. I have a standard poodle who can easily reach 6ft up. This keeps her entertained for as long as I have the energy for. Also, it is incredibly well constructed, and will last forever. The rope section can be removed and washed. Definitely worth the cost
