Loved this when I first got it, loved that it stored all our shoes at the front door, loved that we could sit on it, loved the color and the material. After only a month however, the top corners ripped. Now the inner cardboard like material is broken and the whole edge is the front is hanging off with the staples and nails sticking out. This is with minimal light use, I would still recommend this product just be gentle, perhaps we open and close the box too frequently or it is just not very sturdy and more mean for occasional use rather than daily use.Update 9/25/16: I contacted Amazon 3x about this product, they said they would e-mail the manufacturer and company. Amazon really fell short here! All three represenetives never e-mailed the company, but told me they did! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Then I wrote several times to the company who didn't respond to my repeated e-mails and calls. Last night the metal staple sticking out of the top cut my five year olds hand, now I will be throwing the whole thing away, waste of money

The smell- despite other's reviews regarding the strong chemical smell of this storage ottoman, I decided to buy it. The color, dimensions, and price were exactly what I was looking for. I also assumed that the smell would fade with fresh air and time.When I opened the package, the foul chemical odor was even stronger than I had imagined. After several days of being outside and then *two months* airing out in my home, the toxic smell coming from the interior of the box is still overbearing. So there it sits open, empty, and smelling of chemicals.Pros: The soft lime green microsuede is lovely. The construction and details are better than I would have expected for this price point.Con: The chemical smell that won't go away, even after months of airing out.

I was looking for a replacement for storage units I had under the bedroom window and at the foot of the bed. The ones I had still worked just fine, but didn't match the colors of the furniture and it was beginning to drive me nuts! After looking at many options, I purchased two of these and they are great. Better quality than I expected, unfold and set up in seconds, and look very nice. They are very roomy for storage. I don't plan to use them for seating at all, but I did briefly sit on one after I set them up and they seem sturdy enough. I wish I had been able to get a taller one for the foot of the bed but there weren't any available. I will keep looking to see if they are in stock. Overall for the price I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend.

I had a similar product, but this one is much sturdier and I like the material as well. I have two of these at the foot of my King sized bed, and they make such a lovely addition to my room, without taking up a lot of space. I have plenty of extra room for all of my winter sweaters in them, and I can also use the top of the ottoman as a bench or as a tabletop. I really love this product. I paid a little more for this one, but it was worth it. The other product I had previously purchased from HSN, and it's in my bathroom for storing my extra towels and washcloths. I will eventually replace it with another one of these beauties. It's DEFINITELY an excellent purchase.

I am very happy with the purchase of this folding storage ottoman bench. It came quickly and even though the outside delivery box was damaged, all was fine inside the box as they were protected by the product's packaging. It promised easy set up and that was very true. The look and feel of the leather-like exterior was just as advertised. When assembled it was very sturdy and substantial with plenty of room to store a set of sheets and a pillow or comforter, but not both a pillow and comforter. Fortunately, I bought two so I'll put pillows and sheets in one and a comforter in the other. When placed side by side the two ottomans make a nice square coffee table space. I also bought 4 of the smaller folding ottoman stools which were advertised as 12x12. The pictures in the ads showed these stools as the same height as the storage ottoman, but they are NOT. The stools, like the ottoman are of good quality, so my only complaint is that they are not the same height and you can not put them side by side to make an extended size coffee table as the photos advertised.

Our living room furniture does not have recliners. This is a perfect affordable solution and matches the tan microsuede perfectly. This is the second one we've bought. The first one lasted about 5 years until my clumsy dog broke the lid. It's not meant for standing on, but you can easily sit on it and it's very sturdy. Can hold about 4-5 blankets easily.

So happy I got this. It serves as a storage, a bench, and a mini levatation device. I bought this to store my linen in and it's so spacious! Currently I have both linen and bath towels in there and there's still room for more. I like that it doesn't feel cheap and feeble. My boyfriend took a look at it and wants to get one too. The top is very sturdy when I tried standing on it like in the video and it's also comfy to sit on.

This is a bit flimsy, so I wouldn't recommend it for frequent/heavy use. You also won't want to pack a lot of stuff into it, as the sides will bow out and the lid won't fit. But I am using it to store some blankets that I don't use very often, so it works really well for me. And it doesn't look flimsy at all--the fabric cover is well done, you can only tell it's kinda cheap when you take the lid off and notice the sides are bit wobbly. Otherwise it looks really nice. So overall I'm very happy with it. Bonus star because my cat also loves sitting on it to look out the window :)
