Great Buy, works great and magnet is STRONG… this baby won’t come loose from the pedestal.Attached to the floor and door using the double sided tape thingamajig.Just make sure you clean Borge surfaces with a non-oily cleaner… I used alcohol.Oh and be certain with where you’re gonna place the magnet and pedestal… tape is stiiiiiiiiiicky!I initially attached the pedestal to the baseboard and the magnet to the bottom of the door.House originally had carpet so the pedestal/magnet installed about 1.5” lower than the bottom of the door, so I carefully/slowly removed the tape… wasn’t easy to do but I got it off of one side of the product.Per seller instructions… after installation is finalized… “wait 24hrs before use”

I installed with the adhesive because I was lazy. It does give you 2 other options for installation with screws.Works well so far. However, I thought the magnet was too strong for use with the adhesive only. Because of this, I wrapped the magnet head with duct tape to lessen the hold. This works fine because I don't need that much of a hold on this door. The magnet is very strong if you need it.

Bought these to hold my classroom door open so I didn't have to use a wooden wedge stopper. Put it on 2 different doors and let it be over the weekend so the adhesive would have time to set. Couldn't use the screws since it was used in school and we aren't allowed to drill into the walls (or doors)Used in Monday and the first one detached from the wall the first day. The other set last a couple of weeks but then detached from the door.They seem to work well and would probably last if screws were used.

Works well. Needs better directions on how to properly align the pieces. I attached the linger piece to the door with screws and than attached the smaller piece with the magnet to the longer one. I than opened the door so the the small piece touched the wall. I than drew a circle around the smaller piece on the wall. This allowed me to drill holed and attach the smaller piece.

I use these on 3 doors in my house. Master bedroom laundry room garage door. These 3 doors go in a straight line and when the slider is open and the garage door is open it starts to slam all the doors. These door stops are no bigger than the ones I already have and they keep my doors open. I screwed them in so I have no issues with them. Great product.

The magnet strength is just enough to securely hold the door open, but you don't have to wrestle with the door to get the magnet to let go, unlike some other magnetized door holders.

Wow. So the product I received seems to be in working condition which is great but it also seems pretty used. The box was torn near the opening tabs and the bubble wrap seems mostly popped and the actual door stop is scratched in a number of places. Dunno the quality control situation but I probably wouldn’t order another one of these from this company.

Works great - and there are several ways to attach it will all hardware included. But I would NOT use the double sticky adhesive since I can't believe that this would stay attached for very long due to the strength of the magnet. The magnet is pretty strong - almost too strong - but better than too weak.
