Couldn't even get past the tutorials.
No issues with my order. But the game itself is absolutely horrible. It's tedious and boring, and honestly I only played it one time. Now it just sits uselessly installed on my harddrive. If you're buying it for multiplayer, don't bother. The service has been discontinued. My friend and I had originally both purchased so we could mess around on multiplayer mode and sort of make fun of the game, but couldn't do that because the provider of the function is no longer in service. Also, there's blatant sexism present in the gameplay. Women characters can only have two jobs: Nurse and musician. Men can be pretty much whatever they want without restrictions. Ridiculous, but whatever. It's like a generic, poorly-copied knock off of Sim City. It's so utterly boring that I applaud anyone who can get past the tutorials. Save your money. Buy a decent game. Literally anything else.

Good continuation of the series
Bought as a gift so I didn't get a chance to view it. I am sure it was great.

it did not work on my computer
I don't think it is your fault, it just did not work on my computer...I wish it had worked.

Love it.
I had been looking for this game for a while. I read the books and loved them. I enjoy playing these type of games. I was totally happy with my purchase. The cost, the time it took to arrive and the condition it arrived in was excellent. I am very satisfied.

Boys
My husband and boys love this game. It does take a bit of time (18-20 minutes) to complete a mission, so they are limited to playing just one mission at a time.

A game that teaches biblical truths
How wonderful! A game that teaches biblical truths. I hope every youngster gets plugged into these games. What a great teaching tool.

A significant expansion and enhancement of the prior game editions
In case anyone reading this is not aware, the first game in this series, Eternal Forces, was a nice, run of the mill strategy game, except that instead of physical combat, it was focused on "harvesting" with the resource you harvest being people... meaning you're trying to save as many of your fellow New Yorkers as possible. While force was necessary for self-defense at times, it was never desirable (and if you focused on force, you couldn't win the game).A while later, Tribulation Forces was released. This was really the orginal game, with a lot of tweaks and fixes, and quite a bit of new content added. Think of it as an expansion pack bundled with the original game. Now, while I've played through Eternal Forces/Tribulation Forces, I have not yet played all the way through Rise of the Antichrist. I've just sort "test driven" it so far. So, I may revise this review later. What I know so far is that it seems that all content from the first game and the "Tribulation forces" expansion is present. I'm not 100% sure of that, but it sure looks that way.I can also say that a lot of additional material has been added into this. Not the least of which is the addition of an entirely new playable faction, the independent American Militia. There have been quite a few new building designs and other graphical improvement added, which should address the complaints from some that the city seemed to be too repetitive. It also adds a lot of additional storytelling, including a ton of new interactive movies (something like 40 videos, I think). The first game, and the expansion, both came on single CDs, but this is on a DVD, and they've really taken advantage of the additional available space. There are a total of 39 different maps to play on, and you get 46 single-player missions (which includes basic tutorial missions which, if you've played the prior editions, will seem VERY familiar to you! There are three multiplayer modes, and a "skirmish" mode. You can play against the computer, or you get "multiplayer-only" codes as part of the deal, so you can play with seven friends online. The idea that they provide these codes means you're really getting eight copies of the game, in a sense (I'm sure that the publisher hopes that your friends will decide that they want to play the single-player game after playing multiplayer, and will thus go out and buy their own copy!)I haven't played through the game to the end yet... so I can't make this mmy "final" review. But I will be sure to post an update if appropriate at that point. In any case, I do recommend this. It's a fun strategy game. But I'll admit I'm "old-school" as far as strategy games go... my favorites are stillstill "Dune 2000" and "Kohan - Immortal Sovereigns," after all, and they're ancient. But I've played newer games as well... and am quite happy with this game (or rather, series of games) compared to anything which is published by one of the big publishing houses.
