Fearsome Fairies: Haunting Tales of the Fae (British Library Hardback Classics)

This collection of stories is an excellent read and is also beautifully presented.It is refreshing to sink into a world of fae that is not inhabited by the Victorian fluffy fairies. Rather, we are introduced to a range of beings that certainly merit a degree of respect if one is not to risk a kick up the backside.

Beautifully presented collection of enthralling fairy short stories. A star less for the ''wokish'' tinged intro.

Well-researched and haunting in all the right places. If you are interested in folklore, mystical creatures, and weird things that move in the corner of your eye, this is a can't-miss collection.

The stories are older and well written/curated. A lot of authors I hadn't heard of, but am now looking for more from. Plus the book itself it great. The paper is a nice heavy quality, and the cover is a nice texture.
