Did not get rid of dead rodent smell

This bag of gravel wouldn't eliminate the smell of a dead fly ... not worth the money .. scamming ×××××× ... its cat litter in a canvas bag .. daylight robbery... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WAITING FOR IT TURN UP...

I ordered this because I had a rat in my wall that died, it was a disaster of a smell and I wanted to rip the wall down to make it go away. This stuff neutralized the smell in 12 hours.

We bought this after a rat died in our basement behind a brick wall (we couldn't just punch a hole and re-patch it.) I was very skeptical that it would work, and since it is unscented it did not work immediately. We hung it from the ceiling of our storage room and turned a fan on. (Air circulation helps with decomposition and moving the smell around.) The next morning the smell was GREATLY reduced. The pungent odor was gone. We could smell a faint odor but it's not the knock-out punch smell that we had 24 hours ago. The "death" smell is gone. I feel like we could probably even turn on our AC. (The rat died near our HVAC unit so we aren't thrilled about pumping the smell all over the house. In fact, yesterday we could smell it coming out of our air vents even though the unit wasn't on. Today? No odors are seeping out of our vents.) We had an exterminator over to help us find the entry points and even he was impressed by the lack of smell in the storage room.He told us that we probably have about another 2 weeks until the rat has ceased smelling and I'm glad we have this bag of wonder. It has made our home livable. We haven't tried "recharging it" but it seems straightforward. I hope we never have to use it again! Between this and scented candles, we can get through the next two weeks.

We live out in the country. The air intake in the engine compartment of the vehicle we had was a bad design. Rodents were able to crawl in and eat their way through the cabin filter. Even though we used the car on a regular basis, it wasn’t a daily. So every two of three days was enough for the little critters to crawl in. What a pain. And then we had one that died in there. It stunk! While the smell goes away under normal circumstances, for some reason it lingered in the car. We thought about other options but we took a chance on this to start with and it worked. We stuck it where the smell appeared to be the worst. It took a few days but as time went by, it steadily got better. Within a week, it was pretty much gone. It smells good too.

Worked well, as odor was gone after 2 days.

Packaging suggests a no of bags filled with "smelleze" but in actual fact there was only 1x string bag full .I put the product in 3 separate open containers within 1.5-2 metres from source of smell but it has done lille tto absorb same .for the price extremely disappointing
