Good image quality
It's quite a nice image. I have the homestar original so mine is dimmer than the new model. So you'll have a hard time seeing it in anything except darkness.The first image is more like what you see. The second image is enhanced to show off the image detail. If you have the homestar flux it might look more like the second image. But without owning one I can't say for certain

Does not fit Sega Homestar Flux
This looks like it would be a great disc, but the description is wrong. It does not fit the Sega Homestar.It is significantly bigger than the discs that fit in the Homestar. Not sure why they would advertise that this is compatible.

Stunning view of the Milkyway in Color.
So my Sega Homestar came with a northern hemisphere night sky disk which inluded the night sky with the bright band of the MIlky Way. It was impressive but black and white. This image is in color, and it is mesmerizing in it's beauty. Also other nearby galaxies appear as well and you can see significant detail.The best way to view is to project towards the ceiling, turn off the light, and then lay down on your back and look up at the stars. It's so cool.
