This is a bold beauty. It will get you noticed when you wear it. The necklace construction begins with a thick nylon rope that is hand wrapped with black cotton yarn. This technique has been used for hundreds of years in some cultures. Then handmade copper end caps are attached to each end of the rope. The pendant is the focal point , the bold statement. This unique pendant was made by brazing copper wire into an armature which frames a beautiful large agate bead. The agate is black with a pink matrix. The front of the bead is in its rough form. The back is by contrast faceted and polished. The necklace is 20" long. The pendant is 2" wide and 3" long. The agate bead is 2" wide and 3" long. Enjoy Handmade!
