My old one was damaged during a hurricane but the pole and wiring were fine. This was easy to install at a decent price.

Nice post lamp, wire leads are just a little short, fixture is a little small
I purchased this to replace a post lamp that seemed to go bad for one reason or another. This one is very sturdy, seems well put together to keep weather out, and was easy to install. My only complaint is that the wires could be a little bit longer. They were able to reach where I needed them to get to, but there wasn't a whole lot of slack left. Rather than having to splice some together or use connectors, adding another 6 to 12 inches would be preferred. It can always be cut shorter. The fixture itself is a bit smaller than my old one too, so looks a little out of place on the lamp post itself but it does the job and illuminates the space around so I'm otherwise happy with it.

Incredible deal
My original post lamp was part of a matching set that are mounted along the front of my home as well as a few hundred feet of fence. So finding a replacement that matched was important. This one matched the others, but instead of being made of plastic, this one was made from solid cast aluminum and powder coated black. It has tempered glass panels that are clip mounted instead of snap in plastic and it was a perfect fit. Took like ten minutes to remove the old one that had its plastic lid ripped off in an afternoon thunderstorm, and replace it with this all aluminum one. Works perfectly and looks great.

Nice Light
I actually bought this to convert to solar. I already had a solar panel-battery pack from another light with a cheap plastic light fixture. Wired it up to this with a 3-volt Edison base bulb and it looks great on my corner fence post. I may eventually extend my low voltage landscape lights out there and change to a 12-volt bulb. This is a very versatile fixture and seems to be of good quality.
