About Hammerhead Sleds Hammerhead Sleds was founded in 2002 with the goal of re-creating the excitement evoked by sledding a century ago, when the Flexible Flyer was first marketed. To attract new sledders and re-connect with old ones, the company took the challenge of bringing an ancient technology up to date using new-age materials, manufacturing techniques, and user experiences. After three prototype versions, multiple patent applications, many test hours, and intense industrial design work, the company unveiled the Hammerhead, the company's flagship sled. At home in both the backyard and the ski slope, the Hammerhead looks and performs nothing like the sleds of the past, with attractive and comfortable ergonomic mesh seating, a lightweight aluminum frame, a responsive control system, and custom carving skis. The company's long-range plan is to bring sledding to the forefront of modern winter sports, with such sponsored activities as team riders and events, slope side venues, and sled races. Hammerhead Sleds is based in Vermont.

Doesn't fit
Ordered the bag expecting the sled would fit in it as is. Appears that the ski's must be removed from the sled before you can put it in the bag. I don't even know how to take the ski's off nor would I want to do that every time. I have since returned that's not worth the money to me.

Great bad, but it must have been made for the older sleds w/ removable skis.
I had to return it since it did not fit unless you drill out the rivets for the skis. These have been discontinued.

It would be nice if this was perfected
It appeared to be a durable case to store the sled in. Sorry to say our sled would not fit in it unless we took of the skis. Not going to do that ever time. It would be nice if this was perfected. We really wanted a case for storage.
