Hydro Globes Automatic Watering Bulbs (2)

I love these! They are much larger than many others I found, so they work very well in my 16" across pot of pothos, which I was constantly forgetting about until the soil dried out.I fill one of these up and 10 days or so later it's time to fill it again, and in between I don't have to worry about checking the soil at all.You can see inside the glass bulb to monitor the water level, the soil is staying damp but not wet, and they are beautiful on top of that!I have not tried them in an outdoor plant; I have too many right now, and it's the summer in Texas, so we water all the outside plants every day anyway.But I love these enough I'm tempted to get more houseplants so I have an excuse to buy more.

These are very nice Hydro Globes...the colors in them are so nice...it was very easy to fill them from the bottom....and then just insert into the pot...I have never used these before,so i kept watching to see the water level in them..it did go down slowly over time...I am happy that these work,i sometimes forget about my plants...so this is a huge help..

So glad I got these globes. Always have been on the fence about it, but I am going away and needed a way to water my plants. They came packed beautifully and are glass. I thought they were plastic, but, the material is WAYYY better. You can fill up the globes with water and place right into the plant. It works for up to two weeks at a time and the plants will stay alive and healthy.The best part about this is that it matches my living room decor and looks so elegant. I am blown away by how adorable it looks.The ball is about 4" in diameter and the stem is 12-inch long enough. You can place it deep into the plant by the roots. Can be used indoors or outdoors. Highly recommended and I may pick some up as gifts for the holiday time.

The product looks nice and works as expected except after less than a couple months of use one of mine randomly broke in two while it was inserted into the soil. The top part was filled with water and snapped right off from the stem where it met the soil. It had been inserted at an angle so my only guess as to what happened is the weight of the water-filled bulb was too much for the thin glass tube to support.

I have purchased water globes in the past, but they were a smaller size. I love the size of these. So much better. Besides the fact that these are beautiful, they are so handy. I am the worst at remembering to water my plants. I love the fact that I can easily fill up the globe and stick it in the planter and the water seeps into the dirt throughout the week. Very easy to use and beautiful at the same time. That is a win - win to me!

Cute and functional, but break easily. One came broken in the box, and one broke in the pot after a couple of weeks. I had one before that lasted for years.

One of the two in the pack was perfect, the other had a too wide of spout and a toothpick thick stem, after taking forever aka 5 minutes to fill up, it broke as soon as i put it in the fresh and soft soil...so overall a bit disappointing I basically got 1 globe when I paid for two...

Love these! Takes a little trial and error to get them to work properly but when they do they're a life saver. Make sure they're tightly packed in so they don't pour out in a day but not so tightly packed that they never drain. They look great too. I use them in golden pothos I have hanging in my bedroom. I fill em up once a week and before I do I soak the soil a bit (pothos like moisture). So far it's been the longest living live plant I've owned. Three months and going strong thanks to these water globes.
