just as expected. The colors are vibrant, not exactly the shiny texture I expected like the Calendars which are very beautiful in deed. Thank you George your masterpieces are sublime.Overall the products in the end are totally pleasant to give as a gift or for oneself. Just very relaxing to look at and to have. I decided to frame the cards which look great with a WHT Frame and BLK Frame depending on ones taste of course and for any room. Same as the Calendar purchased for gifts and extra for framing. you will truly enjoy these cards and all of his creative art pieces.

Over two decades ago, my then two young daughters and I made the first of many trips to New Orleans when we lived in Pensacola. As we strolled along, we passed a small, unassuming gallery and I immediately stopped. There, propped up in the window, was a painting of a dog - a blue dog. I loved him immediately and have ever since. So it follows that I love the cards - and have for years. A recent review stated in part that no one in New Orleans liked this icon and the paintings are only fodder for tourists. Now, there is a generalization if there ever was one and thus, like all generalizations (including this one?)not worth considering. The Blue Dog is here to tease out a smile from those of us who stop and look and that's enough.

While purchasing the Blue Dog engagement calendar as a birthday gift, I purchased the note cards for my Christmas gift thank-yous.My two small grandchildren loved them!!! They liked the colors and the little dog painted in different colors or wearing something different for each one.Their curiosity took them to my desk to look at the entire selection in the box.I have several Blue Dog Books for them to look at and be read to them---they were found at my brother's home after his death. He was a college professor of art. I have purchased a few of my own because I am an art educator for children---they always enjoy the great examples of color.Keep the little guy coming!!!

I have bought over the years 15 copies of this book and given them to those who just lost their pet. The journey and art of this book helps remember what was so special or fun about their pet ultimately begins the healing process. When you start reading your heart is sad, in the middle you begin to smile and at the end you laugh and knowing your pet is still with you....it's just now blue.Everyone who I have given this book to has express appreciation and said this book helped them in their recovery of the loss.I have artist friends who lost both their dogs this year that I gave the book to...they gave me the calendar for Christmas!!!

Colorful doggie drawings. Love the simplicity and images. Didn't notice till later that the moon phases aren't icons just small print across the date. Like the images better but that's minor. Good paper stock. Recommend.

My favourite calendars - I look forward to a Blue Dog every year. This year’s calendar features newer work (Rodrigue passed several years ago) and all of it is bright and fun. Last year had some older works that were darker and lacked the fun I look forward to in Rodrigue’s work, this one is a my favourite so far!

I collect Blue Dog pieces and this calendar is really nice.
