sadly, did not work out of the little plastic bag it came in, refund time ...... oh well next applicant please....at least Amazon is really good about returns. this makes the 4th OBDII unit I have gone through looking for one that simply works without hassles! All were purchased from different vendors, but, hey, they are ALL based on the ELM 327 Chipset, and all are made in China .....But, all is not lost, I did find one that works terrifically with my Iphone and the Leaf Spy App for my Nissan LEAF.. Received the dongle quickly, however when I put the accompanying CD users manual in my windows 7 PC immediately the security scanner told me it contained 2 hacking tools. Did not go any further packed it up and sent it back.

Works well! It will interface with most OBII reader software. Use the DashCmd app on my iPad 3 or my Droid Maxx. Strong wifi signal that doesn't cut out. Read that the CD has some shady files on it, but I never used the CD. Just download a good app and toss the CD that comes with the thing.
