A good choice to keep our expensive hearing aids in tip-top and dry condition.
Tried the battery powered competition (now resting peacefully at the landfill) and it was disappointing. Audiologist suggested this one on Amazon. Yes, I like it and recommend it. It works and don't take up a lot of nightstand space.

Very good for after a workout or other sweaty work
This little device is quite a change maker for me. I was trying to keep up with the moisture buildup on my hearing aids by wiping and drying by hand. The drying box does the job far more thoroughly, and also, to my surprise, even removes earwax build up that lodges in the receiver portion of my hearing aids. It is still good to use the little brush to take dried material off the tips, of course, as this box is a dryer, not a washer (obviously). But yes, easy 5 stars as I can tell this will probably eliminate any moisture caused problems that would necessitate a costly cleaning/repair visit to the shop where I purchased my hearing aids, as I have already had to do twice before I got this drying box.

Perfect Dry Lux dryer/sanitizer for hearing aides
Have been using the Perfect Dry Lux everyday since I received it. It is working great. My small Oticon hearing aids that has rechargeable batteries fit perfectly in this dryer. I put them in at the end of the day. Only takes 45 minutes.Automatically shuts off when cycle has finished.

Easy to use
This is very hard to review, because there is not a lot that you can measure. My audiologist recommended that I keep my hearing aids demoisturized, so I went online to review my options. She had to replace the speaker wires due to moisture damage. The PerfectDry Lux was a bit more expensive than some other options, but I liked the fact that it dosed the hearing aids in UV light to steralize them while gently dehumidifying them. The bright blue light would be disconcerting if you had it on your bedside table at night, but I have mine in the bathroom so I don't have that problem.I cannot tell whether it is working, other than I tested to see if I could detect gentle heat, which I could. But if my audiologist says I needed it - then I needed it.

Hearing aid maintenance
Works as advertised. 45 min cycle. Audiologist say it will prolong life of my hearing aids. Good investment.

Changed my hearing life!
My audiologist suggested that I use a dessicant pack in my hearing aid charger unit to remove any moisture that accumulates, and change the dessicant when it was no longer working - when it changed color sufficiently to altert you to change. This would improve hearing ability and extend the life of the hearing aids. I tried three different types of approved dessicants, over a six month period, and did not experience any positive effect on hearing abilities. My engineer hubby suggested this UV-C unit to both remove any moisture accumulation and, equally important, kill bacteria throughout - including the domes and anchors. So many units out there but I chose this one because of its 45 minute cycle and done. Straight to the point, it has changed my life. Domes and anchors come out feeling new and are easier to insert; crinkles, static and other annoying moisture-associated noises are gone. What an unexpected and remarkable improvement. Thank you!

A real improvement - and it works.
This works a lot better than the old desiccant drying jars I used before. It cleans as well as dries. The process does take about 45 minutes, so you have to allow for that. My wife says it makes a squealing noise. I don’t hear that noise, so I can’t say if it does or doesn’t. If it makes a noise, even she admits that it is not very loud. I keep her happy by unplugging the cleaner when I am finished cleaning my hearing aids, and then plugging it back in the next day when I want to use it again. Despite the 45 minutes run time, I won’t go back to using just the old desiccant jars.

Awesome and price
Works awesome price. No need to hesitate to purchase. Had it for a while, works with my hearing aids and works really good. Actually, it will preserve the life of your hearing aids from moisture because I have also accidentally forgot that I had my hearing aids in cuz they're so good to where they don't feel like they're in my ears and I jumped in the shower. Totally forgot they were in my ears until I was wetting my hair down and swiped my hands over my ear. I'm like oh crap LOL that was the second time oopsie so after I got done taking the shower well I took them out. Put them on the counter. Didn't even dry them off. Well maybe a little bit and then I put it in that box after I dried it out fully and literally it does what it says it does. I mean it's common Sense. Ultraviolet raybox sucks up moisture and kills germs or whatever. I don't think that one does but it sucks up the moisture and all that good for the price worth it. No hesitation does what it says it will do.
