The perfect cube shaped stones also form a solid surface area, allowing for a better and more even chilling. The size is just right, not to big, not to small, just right for a 2oz drink, any larger and it will not be covered by your liquor and not be as efficiently chilling. It will have only a very slight chill, but again this is all you want. Typically, a set of 3 cubes will lower the temperature of a 2oz drink by 5C. Anything more and you risk the flavors tightening up. Our stones are tumbled so they won't scratch your glasses or even worse, chip off in your drink.
