Our 40-year-old son (and his four children) are major Lego fans and so I got this set for him for Christmas. I had thought about another set, but when I read in a review from another buyer that they had it finished in a day, I knew that it wasn't as challenging as my son would want. He informed me that it was enough of a challenge to be satisfying.

Beautiful set that offers a great value for your money. The detail is amazing and the instructions are very well made.

I had a problem! When I was nearly finished I dropped an important piece into the gap at the corner. Could not get it out. I didn’t want to wait for Lego to send me a replacement and I didn’t want to take everything apart. I turned the set upside down, the missing piece fell out and nothing came apart. I was so impressed how well all the pieces stuck together and how lovely the finished set looked.

It was birthday gift for my 13 yr. Old grandson , he loves it. He already put it together in one day. It’s beautiful. In 1978 when I visited Agra , India I went and visited Taj Mahal , it’s one of the seven wonders of the world, it’s marvelous , amazing& beautiful .thank you Amazon

Got this to give as a gift. They loved it. However, some pieces are missing or wrong color. I don't think this is an Amazon issue but a Lego issue. You can order missing pieces on Lego site. But it takes 8-12 days to arrive.
