It works pretty well for that
Purchased this for video conferencing so that the laptop running the conference doesn't have to sit at the end of the table, with everyone huddled together at the other side. It works pretty well for that, though the clip is designed to sit flush with the front/back of the computer (or phone), and most phone cases, and many laptops, have a lip that creates a gap between the clip and the camera.I took a few pictures with my phone and the lenses. In order of upload, they are:- Macro lens- No lens- Wide lens- Fisheye lensWith the exception of the macro lens, they're all taken from roughly the same distance (somewhere around three inches from the keyboard, at an angle)

good quality, but a little blurry towards the edges of the camera
this product was super helpful for me because i draw really small. allowed me to sketch under an inch wide and print out in great quality the size of regular paper. only qualms are that the edges seem a little rounded in (if i draw a square it kind of bends between the corners but the corners stay intact. also, it can be a little fuzzy at the edges, but it did the trick for me.
