These boxes work incredibly well for catching insects, but lizards were also getting trapped –– in spite of only placing the boxes inside the garage. So, we started taking the preemptive step of using scissors to make 1/2" cuts on both ends on all four sides (eight cuts total) before setting out a new box(es). So, now, if a lizard gets caught, we can easily tear open the box and use a long-handled wooden spoon to carefully and gently separate/scoot him off the glue trap –– emphasis on "carefully" and "gently."

These things are amazing! The first one I took out of the wrapper I left it on top of the kitchen counter. I was going to put it under the sink but forgot. When I came back to it a few hours later, the entire bottom part was full of roaches! I turned it over and set it by the stove, and the next morning, it was full. I set them up where I had been seeing roaches, and now I don't see them anymore (well, alive, anyways). PROS: 1. EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE. Roaches cannot resist them. 2. Nontoxic. It uses an attractant that smells like molasses, that is surrounded by very sticky adhesive. No poison needed. 3. Enclosed design. Roaches love creeping around dark, tight spaces, what could be more inviting? Plus, you don't have to worry about seeing all them dead critters, or worry that your child (two legged or four legged) will get stuck on that mess. 4. You see them dead. A lot of products advertise that they "take the bait and go die somewhere else". That's all good and well, but I want proof. (BTW I also set up Roach Max bait that "kills the nest") One more thing I did was throw some 20 mule team borax in cabinets where my dog can't get to. Lots of dead carcasses found in that powder. 5. You can manually kill them. If I see one crawling up the wall, I will trap it and it will run into the trap and get caught. You don't get your hands dirty, no clean up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
