Alptop 1080P Outdoor PTZ WiFi Camera – Pan/Tilt, Night Vision, Motion Detection, 2-Way Audio
Excellent outdoor camera with clear 1080P video, smooth pan/tilt, and color night vision. Motion detection and auto tracking work great. Easy to set up with CamHiPro app. Great value for security!

Great camera for a low price
This is my 2nd Alptop IP camera, and I'm pleased with both. This one is surprisingly lo w priced for such a feature rich IP camera. My other Alptop camera has an optical zoom lens and cost 4X what this one did. Yet this one has all of the features of the more expensive one except optical zoom. It was easy to install and set up. I especially like the AI filtered motion detection, the ability to switch on bright white lights and sound a siren alarm when a target is detected. The optional auto tracking is also good, allowing the camera to follow a moving subject. I'm using it to deter a bear from getting into my garbage cans (I live in the country in a wooded area). It works great, making the critter flee as soon as the lights and siren went off. With the recommended app in my cell phone I'm able to view and control my Alptop cameras from anywhere in the world that I have a decent WiFi connection. May buy another one for my front entrance and driveway.

Great! Set your 2.4GHZ router to an infrequently used WiFi channel and SmartPhone to 5GHZ WiFi.
Have SIX of these scattered throughput the house for almost a year. Work great on a VERY cold night. have had one outside since Jan 2020. Set the cameras frame rate down to 1/15 sec. works good and uses minimal amount of bandwidth. Only negative, and this is NOT the mfgr's fault is the viewing apps available are public domain and not great. There are some paid apps but they are >$200. On PC, I use the freebie app by DeskShare IP Camera Viewer 4.1. This app only works reliably with ONE camera even though it supports FOUR. It has a multiprocessing issue that causes lost connections when showing multiple cameras. I know because I tried a 10-day trial version of a commercial app and it had NO problems running all four cams. Even DeskShare's PAID VERSION FAILS and loses connections. At first I thought it was the camera, but have proved the cameras are great.Nice feature with these cams is has an on-board u-memory slot which allows continuous self-contained recording in a loop. The camera record sin 15 minute blocks which makes it easy to find video if the approx time is known. No problems running with -20F last winter; even slewing camera. On my LG/Android phone I run IP Cam Viewer v7.3.4 from Amazon app store. I think it was about $2. Works great with SIX cameras. It's at Hit-Mob.com.UPDATE: Had continuous intermittent problems, maybe 5 to 10 times a day for a few seconds, with lost connections over the year and FINALLY isolated the problem was TOO much interference from other devices in the neighborhood on the SAME CHANNEL. Default is channel six for my Xfinity WiFI. Changed to channel 11 and was better but still occasional interference.UPDATE: Now for two months has been on channel X (not telling), and no problems AT ALL. seems that channel X is rarely selected as a default for routers. Because of wide band width and potential overlap, routers tend to skip a few channels in between "good' channels and mostly use 1,6, and 11 in the 2.4GHZ band. used NetSpot Windows app to identify activity in my area. Right now I have about 60 devices detected. Five are Xfinity routers that are ALL on channel 5!Lastly, Set your SmartPhone to work on 5GHZ so it does not use the 2.4GHZ band and interfere with cameras!Should note the field of view is NOT wide and is a bit narrow for a surveillance camera looking at the street or watching a room, but OK for the front door. That's all!

High Quality Security Camera w/many working features!
I was impressed on how easy it was to sync with our router and then the quality of the picture, night and day is perfect. It also has so many features, like zoom, pan, tilt, tracking, define detection area, AI alarm, sensitivity adjustments for the AI and motion detection, push notifications to cell, or picture/video sent to my email, alarm siren, with or without bright lights. And even more than I mentioned. It works so well I just purchased another one. Oh and did I mention, no monthly fee's like many other security cameras require. Just need wireless internet router, a cell phone and the app. I have an android and it works excellent!Updating this review after 2nd camera installed;I finally found time to install my second ALPTOP PTZ Security Camera. Installed so easy and now both cameras are shown on my Android cell phone which makes it super easy to change between them. The quality of these cameras are almost unbelievable and I have captured criminals on our property and even rats and mice getting into our engine compartments. We traveled 1600+ miles and I could still use and control the cameras, saved pictures and push notifications still worked well. These are excellent cameras and the app on android works great as well as the computer. You won't regret buying these cameras!

Good Buy and Setup on Your Phone is Easy
This a follow up review after adding the 3rd camera. I got the cameras to work with my phone with no difficulty. Using Camhipro and IPcamera, I connected the camera to PC. This requires a careful read of the manual. I suggest making all the passwords the same and as this can be a little confusing. Always check the default password for adding a camera in Ipcamera and make sure it matches the camera to be added. These cameras are very good for exterior use with good quality color and video. They are easy to position and control and the saved PTZ settings on the PC make it easy to change the positions of the cameras and easily reset it. I installed the 128 cards in all the units and set them up to save the video snapshots for recall. It is nice to have this on the computer for access and review. One camera kept dropping offline, so I had to move it for a better signal to the router which is inside. I highly recommend these cameras . For the price these cameras are bargain. I give them a 5 STAR Rating. The attached screen shot is of the 3 cameras that I have now.
