These have been working pretty great until today - curiously, about 1 year to the day I installed them.These are installed to regulate wall heaters in a shed. Today - one of the two wall adapters failed and caught on fire. My circuit breaker tripped preventing a major fire.This is the 3 of 4 Digiten sets I have purchased and the 2nd to have failed.I think I will no longer be using this brand. It seems they last about a year and either severely lose calibration on the temp readings or short out and melt.

I was very pleased with this device. It worked as designed and solved my needs.Its rated at 1400 watts most space heaters, all of mine, run at 1500 watts on High setting. I bought several of these outlets. The ones used at 1500 watts melted a bit and stopped working. The one with a space heater on “ medium “ (950 watts) continue to work fine.I gave is a 5 star because it works very well as designed. I just need a 1500 watt model.

When we built our house we opted for in-floor heating. Little did we understand what a poor decision this would be. Te weather turns cold, the heat comes on and it takes an entire day for the house to warm up. And then the weather warms and heat is no longer needed but the floors are still warm. We have to open the windows because it is now too hot. Our solution was to use quiet, efficient oil-filled space heaters. The produce heat quickly and with our house being very well insulated we get all of our heat from a half-dozen of these units. The problem is their built-in thermostats work very poorly. The answer was these wireless thermostats. Two sets control upstairs and downstairs perfectly. Each set controls two heaters. In the long run, these thermostats save us money on electricity and keep the house at just the right temperature. They are absolutely fantastic.

I really like this because it can control more than one devices with one remote. The issue I'm having is quality. The sensor sporadically stops working. I'm not sure if this is my fault because it is too close to the heater (two feet away), but I've replaced it twice now.I moved it further away from the heat source and hope for the best.

I bought these to run two 1500w standard electric radiators for my garage during the winter. The remote system worked great for the first week. On the second week, I noticed that the garage was a little cooler and found that one of the wall plugs had stopped working. The indicator light would turn on but the plug wouldn't allow the heater to access electricity. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one. Now after a few days of working, I went to relocate the new wall plug and found it had melted against the outlet (see pictures). This is dangerous and I'm lucky I caught this in time. I'll have to replace the wall outlet because that is melted as well. While this system seems to work great in theory, I wouldn't use these plugs for anything that requires a substantial electric draw

As other reviewers have mentioned, the directions aren't the best, and it takes sime time and playing with the remote to learn how to use it. That being said, the thermometer on the remote seems accurate, and it works as described for turning portable house fans on and off.

To remotely control it in a greenhouse, common sense would say you can keep the remote in the house so you can watch it in the greenhouse and turn temps up and down from inside. If you have to go to the greenhouse to check and adjust, a remote is not necessary. The thermometer should be in the outlets, not the remote. Defeated the whole purpose, returning.

Super easy to set up and works as described. Now my fans come on when needed even if I’m not home. Just the little peace of mind that I was looking for.
