I really like this BB cream, is very light and the color adjusts perfectly, however it does not provide much of a coverage, if you are used to wear regular foundation you will see the difference. For someone that is not used to wear makeup daily or has a nice even skin tone and would like to wear something light, this is for you! IF you have spots to correct, uneven skin, redness or any other skin issue this is not for you!! I have a pretty fair skin tone, no redness, neither acne, neither dark spots, I usually wear regular foundation but I was looking for something light in texture to wear everyday, this is an "OK" product but does not provide some coverage at least, I still had to blend with my concealer to make a little coverage. Other than that, is very nice on the skin and lasts all day if you have oily skin.I also would of loved if the packaging was a little bigger, it is very small.

I finally found my favorite fountain for my mature skin. Cover Girl has always (I've thought) been good quality/value makeup, I've loved it since I was in highschool.... forever ago lol. I've tried high end foundations and affordable foundations and after trying this little tube of BB cream, I'll stick with it. It covers well, not full coverage obviously as it's a BB cream, but the coverage is effective. It's not thick and cakey at all. It looks pretty on the skin and the match was pretty spot on. I didn't notice any dryness after wearing it for 8 hours WITH matte powder and setting spray. I am extremely impressed!

Like you, I was searching for a less heavy foundation to wear every day–you know, something that still has minimal to light coverage but doesn't look too 'heavy baked.'Amazon of course recommend me to two products: (1) CG Smoothers and (2) CG Clean Matte BB Creams. So I bought both and compared, so you don't have to...Please note, I'm a 30 year old mom still suffering will occasional breakouts and uneven skintone. Nothing new, just life...I normally wear the following;- Revlon Colorstay foundation in 150, Buff,- Maybelline FitMe Powder in 110, Porcelain1) CG Smoothers- 805 Fair to LightThe consistency of this product is really smooth and light, more moisturising than tinting. Very light coverage, a little goes a long way, but also doesn't feel heavy on your face. I love that the color is true and doesnt oxydize. You definitely however need a setting powder to refresh every now and again. (4.5/5 stars)2)CG Clean Matte BB Creams.It's a very dense BB cream, it's similar consistency to sunscreen, heavy. It also has a very heavy sunscreen odor to it too. However it's medium coverage and very matte—keeping your face shine free all day.It's not very blendable, and you need a lot of product. Please note: this product does oxydize and gets darker. It's more medium toned than Fair and I do not recommend it for people with dry skin (3/5 stars)

This is absolutely the BEST summer coverage BB cream, blends well, no oil production even after all day wear. Use daily in Florida and no inflammation with my sensitive skin and actinic rosacea even when out in the sun and sweating. I will no longer use another product.

SCENT: This bb cream definitely has that makeup smell, but I find it much more tolerable than the maybelline one. COLOR: I got medium dark. I would say I'm a typical brown tan color for south asians, but this color was slightly too dark for me until my face actually got some sun and tanned a bit. Something to be wary of. Medium would've been too light for me at any time. APPLICATION: I find this applied better with my fingers than with a sponge because the sponge absorbed some and/or made it a bit patchy. It blended seamlessly into my skin with my fingers, using some tapping motion on spots where I needed more coverage, and normal rubbing motions everywhere else. COVERAGE: It has pretty good coverage compared to the maybelline one. It covered my red pimple pretty easily, but still looked super natural. With concealer, it would probably look like a medium/full face. I don't use concealer with it because it looks natural without + dont need it. FINISH: For a normal/sometimes oily skin type, it definitely helped mattify my face a little bit. I usually always have to set makeup with powder, but I didn't with this because it was such a light application. A setting spray helped it look more alive but it looked fine without too. Only have worn it for max 8 hours at a time, so don't know how it would last all day. By the end of the 8 hours, I was still semi-matte. OVERALL: I was on the fence about it at first, but for the price it's definitely worth a shot. With a brush you could probably get more coverage, and if you mixed in a glow product with it I imagine it would look nice too.
