XMCOSY+ Patio Lights, Smart 50Ft Outdoor String Lights with 25 Dimmable G40 Globe Bulbs, APP Control, Work with Alexa, Connectable Waterproof LED Outdoor Light

Love these lights. We purchased these lights and a separate string light installation kit. That way the wire held the weight of the string light without putting the burden on the light power line. The install was easy but took some time to get it the way I wanted it. The challenging part was getting the lights on the network. Note: you need to use your 2.4 Mhz signal and not your 5Mhz. Otherwise, the lights won't connect. Love being able to use my echo to dim and brighten the lights by voice commands, as well as scheduling the lights to turn on and off at specific times.

I like my XMcosy smart LED string lights! They are well-made, look great, and feature a ton of options.Pros:The lights are dimmable, and you can program the timer for minutes and hours.You can set a reoccurring on/off schedule.You can create customized lighting scenes and flashing effects.Alexa and voice assistant compatible.You can extend multiple strings within your controller.Cons:The lights only work on a 2.4 GHz band Wi-Fi network.The App can be buggy and often indicates the device is offline, until it eventually refreshes.

Not only are the lights outstanding, so is the customer service! There is absolutely nothing wrong with this product and everything right about it.I contacted Customer Service because I was having an issue getting the lights to connect to my Wi-Fi. This was totally operator error. I guess I have to accept the fact that I will always need help with new things. Management in the apartment building showed me what I was doing wrong, and I felt so stupid. These are ultra easy to connect. Know your WI-FI username and password and be sure to follow the instructions on the App to the letter. I did not!! Hence, I frustrated myself. But customer service hung in there with me and had a lot of patience.YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE LIGHTS OR THIS COMPANY!! DEFINITELY PURCHASE THESE LIGHTS!!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought and installed the 150-foot “G40” patio lights from XMcosy. Having 75 lights over a 150-foot line of wire means the bulbs are 24-inches apart. Most of the lights I have strung in the past were spaced at one foot, but this just changes how you hang them.The string has a good long lead from the plug, so it is easy to situate the start of your light run in various scenarios. You should give some consideration to where you situate the “brains” of the light string, as it has to communicate with your 2.4Ghz wi-fi connection. Best to keep everything relatively close and not situated behind thick stone walls.My bulbs got quite a bit of clanking around as they were installed, but these bulbs seem indestructible and held up just fine. I used small threaded hooks into my patio beams to string the lights.This set can be controlled by your smart speaker or by an app on your phone. It’s fun to simply ask “Alexa, turn on the patio lights at 20 percent” and they come on almost immediately. I’m no techie but I believe the smart speaker operates on wi-fi, while the phone app is using Bluetooth. The download of the app and setting up the communication between the smart speakers/phone/lights was pretty straight-forward, but admittedly, I did have to remove the program from my phone and redownload a few times before I got all my settings right.The G40 lights also can be controlled by the phone app to come on and turn off at certain times. So for example, you can have your lights come on at 9pm every day (or select specific days) and then turn off at 1am (or whatever time you choose). The program will even send you a text to your phone to let you know that the requested timed function was completed.Aside from the physical product, I can tell you that XMcosy is the top of the line in product quality and customer support. This is my fifth outdoor lighting purchase from them, and I continue to be pleased with the quality of their products, their helpfulness by email after the purchase, and their willingness to provide replacements should something have flaws.

I LOVE my outdoor lights. I love that I can control them from my phone and set a schedule for them to automatically turn on or off. Recently, the control box/power source shorted out; however, I contacted XMCOSY customer service, and they replaced the power source with a brand new one - no hassle! I’ve had the product a little less than a year, and the product has held up in inclement weather up to this point (of the power cord shorting). To mitigate this in the future, I have covered the box a bit, in hopes of the new cord not shorting out. Despite this, I’m happy with the product and the timely and hassle-free customer support!

Had these for about 7 months now. Many of the lightbulbs are getting water inside them and not lighting up. VERY DISAPPOINTED!**UPDATE** 11/16/22 The company reached out to me after my initial review. They were concerned about their product and promptly sent me a replacement string of lights. I am changing my rating to 5 stars because of this exceptional customer service. I hope the new lights perform well.

We put these up in our living room and I love that they have multiple settings. They are beautiful and we enjoy them! Thank you!!

Love the fact i can control it with my Alexa. They are pretty bright and dimmable. Looks great in out patio. Will be purchasing for the summer for our pool deck.
