You have no idea how much I love this thing. I've never had an updated stereo with Bluetooth and touchscreen that works. This this is great.

Pros:-Yes it has CarPlay (i bought it mainly for a larger GPS screen for my iPhone)-Touchscreen is effective-Has pretty glow colors-Has actual knob-Very light, maybe 2lbs-Radio is fine and scans stations.Cons:-Screen is washed out color-wise-You CANNOT listen to FM broadcast radio and use Map/CarPlay function. One or the other. (You can listen to Spotify or other app-based music)-Takes about 3-4 seconds to boot on start and shows a QR code screen every time you plug in Phone-Knob feels really cheap-Top portion has vestiges of CD player slot molded in.So it does the things it needs to. I find I'm not actually using it for CarPlay maps because I want to listen to the local radio when I drive. Probably fine for a road trip where you're listening to your own music.Things I would change:-Ability to listen to radio and use maps (not app-based FM radio. Sometimes, you don't have data service)-HD radio - able to see the info about songs broadcast on Radio-Split screen option for current music and map.-better color on screen-No lag in startup and cancel that QR screen. Annoying.

Purchased this stereo along with a PAC dashkit for a 2011 Camaro. The stereo works great - good quality sound and easy to use interface. I've owned other Apple CarPlay stereos before, but this one seems to work so much better. It quickly connects with the phone once plugged in and doesn't lose connection - and the screen mirroring with the iPhone works just as flawless. Really happy about that.I did want to update the boot logo and wallpaper for the device. I was a little frustrated to find that you couldn't customize it beyond the 4 default images they offer on the device, but reached out to the company on facebook and within 24 hours they sent me new firmware with the images I wanted to use built into the update. Absolutely amazing support!I can't speak for longevity of the device, since I've only had it installed for a little over a week, but so far I would highly recommend it to anyone. The price is right, and the responsiveness to customer questions was stellar.

I installed this stereo months ago. It looks really nice installed, and I had high hopes for this unit. The FM radio worked then stopped, but I was using the USB and attaching my phone streaming music, so I didn't notice it to much, or when it stopped completely. At the start it didn't really pick up FM very good anyway. I just recently ran the wires for the camera's, front and back. The backup camera works, sometimes. It will come on then go off after a few seconds, or not come on at all. I check the camera itself and it is working all the time. The front camera works, but is providing a mirror display, I am assuming it is the camera I bought separately, but I don't know if the head unit is doing it as I have not tested another camera. I have been using this head unit for several months now, and it just stopped working with my usb to phone, so I no longer have the map function, or other functions with the wired connection. I switched to using blu-tooth today, and that seems to be working as of today. I have not tried to make a phone call yet. Previously while on the USB wire, and I would receive a call, there would be no sound coming through the unit, also the person on the other end could not hear me.

Only has rear rca outputs, so a line converter is needed to run 4 channels from an amp. I knew that when I bought it, so that is not a factor in my review rating. I only have 3 stars, because in the month that I’ve had this, it has frozen on me about 8 times. It freezes, stops playing any music and then after about 3/4 minutes it will shut itself off and reboot. Really annoying. The CarPlay with my iPhone works pretty good, but it takes about 30 decontrol boot and load when I connect my phone to the unit. Gawd forbid I drop my phone and it comes unplugged and I have to wait another 30 seconds for the system to connect to my phone again. Considering the options that are available, I paid about $180 and I feel this is only really the value of a $100 or maybe even a $110 head unit. It’s not a horrible purchase, but I could have done better with another brand.

Mirrorlink works to mirror but no sound. Bluetooth won't work without an app. All the apps I found want a fee. I downloaded 3 and none of the apps worked. So not sure what app you need. So I Could not get Bluetooth to work or connect. Useless you want to listen to only the radio. I did not try the AUX cable as my phone doesn't have one. Android auto worked with mirrorlink but all apps work with mirror link as you are just mirroring your phone screen, but again still no sound.Update:Since I didn't have blue tooth I found an old USB with music on it. The sounds quality is really good and it has a remote so you don't have to touch the radio. However I got a steering wheel control which doesn't work not sure if that was intsalltion or the radio. However if you ok without Bluetooth then it's a great value. I added a star for the sound.
