Swimming Pool Kit: Kickboard, Pull Buoy, Swim Cap and Mesh Bag | By Core Swim Training

Everything in the kit is great except the board - which could use a bit more buoyancy and maybe a little more size. The pull buoy works great, the cap is great, the kickboard is a bit childish feeling. I’m using it just on my extended arms for kick drills and it’s borderline. I’m 5’10” and 150 lbs.

I wanted to get back in to swimming at the pool & I like to have my own equipment to take with me. That way I don't have to ask the lifeguard to unlock the community equipment or worry about there not being enough kickboards if I'm swimming laps while the swim team is practicing. Also, since it's my stuff that I can rinse off and dry out after use, it doesn't get the poolside funk to it. Everything works great & seems to be of good quality...buoyant enough for me anyway - awesome deal for the price!

This kit is a great deal for the money! Each individual item would cost $10-15, so to get all 3 for this price is a great deal! I love the small pull buoy and have compared it to my larger buoy and it provides the same amount of flotation, without being so large and bulky. And the swim cap is comfortable and made of great material. The kickboard is a great size as well. This is a great beginner, intermediate and advanced swim kit!

This is a great product for the price! You get a kick board, strong swim cap, pull buoy, and even a net bag to keep them in. I have been a lifelong swim coach and swimmer and needed something easy to have around the pool. This is a great product and just what I needed.I especially love the netted bag for storage and making it easy for all the equipment to dry after use!

The foam for the kick board and pull buoy are not dense enough to hold up my body weight in the water. I am a petite woman and I weigh less than 120 lbs, so it seems like these products should be able to hold me up in the water. This set was cheaper than other options, so I guess that you get what you pay for.

Getting back into swimming after a LONG time away. Bought this set because I live in a city that does not have a sports store that carries supplies for swimmers. Big mistake. I should have gone to Speedos' website for supplies. The kickboard does not have enough density. A kickboard is supposed to support the upper half of swimmers' body while kicking. This one doesn't even keep my head above water! The rest of the supplies in kit are adequate. Mesh bag allows water to drip away for drying. Low score reflects the inadequacy of the kickboard, not the seller or other items in kit. As stated by another reviewer, kickboard could be used as a seat in and out of water.

So far so good. Haven't used the cap though. Seems durable and kid likes it.
