This is the second DBPower projector I've purchased and am amazed at how nice they are for the money. The first one I purchased was about 1.5x the price of this one and offers a few more features (digital keystone adjustment, fabric exterior, etc...) which I do not find to be necessities. This one caught my eye due to its 8000L brightness and its price. Decided to pull the trigger.I'm still surprised at the quality of these budget projectors. I have no issues watching movies or sports through my firestick/chromecast. Picture looks impressive. CmonOverall, I feel this projector is well worth the $140 price its currently available for (after coupon). Plenty bright, excellent picture, decent sound in a pinch (but lets be honest, dedicated speakers are recommended), and the variety of input options make this a no brainer at this price for my needs. Perfect for basement or casual movie nights indoor or outdoor. Portable. I'm glad I purchased this one.

I bought this last year when it was on sale. My first projector. I pulled the big screen down off the wall and used this machine with my surround sound. Such a great experience. The picture quality looks great, just on a white wall. No pull down cloth or anything. Just directly on the wall at night. I've gone back and watched all my fav movies for the most part. Just to see them on the BIG SCREEN! and this does a great job of doing just that.If you don't have a good surround sound system though and use the build in audio from this. . not sure it'd be that enjoying. The speaker it comes with isn't bad. But def isn't good either for an experience. If you have blu tooth headphones, probably works awesome with those if the bass is in the. But wall, projector, surround sound, popcorn ENJOY!

I haven't hooked up to my Xbox and I also use it with my fire stick. The only issue that I have so far is that for some reason the image is crooked. I'm pretty sure this is a user error because either it's not angled correctly toward the wall or my wall isn't angled correctly toward me. 😂 Either way it does take some fidgeting to get it at the right angle to where it's not annoying. Overall for the price and sound quality and it's capability this was a fantastic deal.

This is the best projector. Has hdmi I can play my Xbox and use it as a tv with headphones ,it has Bluetooth ,good sound quality and for all the features a pretty good value. it has screen share you can connect your phone and look at messages of your bf/ gf cheating and trying to make excuses with your friends , you can watch movies on the wall without a white screen ( if you have a light wall paint color) it comes with 3 cords(power cord ,new hdmi cord and RCA cable) and a sexy bag with a handle to travel with. It has it all get it it’s good !!!!hope this helps <3

First projector I’ve ever owned. Can’t and will not pretend to be an expert on projectors, but I was SHOCKED at how BIG and CLEAR the picture was. I purchased the $30 “no crease” projector screen, slapped it on my wall with some thumbtacks just to try it out and I was as giddy as a 5 year old. I’m not sure why it took me this long to pull the trigger on this projector, but I’m glad I did. If you’re getting this to show off to your friends or even to entertain guests, I’m sure it will get the job done. It’s truly an experience. It does take some tinkering to get the image just right and you’ll have to buy a stand or ceiling/wall bracket, or you can just prop it up on a table like I did, but its pretty simple. The most difficult part was connecting it to my iPhone, and I’ll be the first to admit I’m not very tech savvy, but I managed to connect it without pulling any of my hair out. Just follow the directions, be patient and it will connect. I read review after review and decided I wanted to make a frame out of 1” x 3” for the screen, (it looks so nice) so I’ll try to remember to update the pictures but theres multiple ways you can make it work. Will quit rambling soon, but I just wanted to comment on how clear the picture was even with 3 wide windows in my room with quite a bit of light coming through. The speaker works just fine, but as other reviewers mentioned a Bluetooth speaker is recommended. Love that you can change the picture settings. Easy to use. Try it out. You have nothing to lose. FYI, if visible, the TV next to the projector is a 43”. The projector was around ~8 feet away from the screen and it was GIGANTIC. So cool.

I’v had this projector 2 weeks and it a dark spot on the picture. My last projector of 5 years never had this problem.

This is my second projector. When it is off it makes a high pitched squealing sound that goes up and down in pitch.It has to do with the power cord. Google says it’s nothing to worry about, but it is annoying. The picture is nice. The settings are good. I like the timer to shut off. It also automatically shuts off after a period of inactivity. I mostly use it for my switch, but phone connectivity is not the best. It serves its purpose, but I would get a different model next time.

For the price of this projector it's a 5 star

The DBPOWER 8000L projector is a great quality/performance mini projector for it's price. Like all projectors it's strongest in the darkest room possible but surprisingly the brightness is great when used in a room even with a small lamp on. Colour representation is good for the price point and only slightly blown out sometimes - but nothing too noticeable unless you've seen much more expensive projectors.The size and weight of this little thing is perfect and at 75W max it's using relatively low power (actually less than my Sony Bravia TV!)This works very well with Chromecast Google TV (which I pair to BOSE Soundlink II speaker rather than use projector speaker.Overall this is an incredible projector that punches well above it's weight and you can't go wrong for the price point on this product!Only things to note (and these are not major things for the price, just worthy to know):- The fan is noisier than my reference EPSON ($1995) but for the price it's to be expected - just worth noting if you want this in a bedroom (like I do) and don't want to increase the volume a bit to overcome the fan hum.- Optical keystone causes severe blur/aberration at all edges IF you need to utilise it to compensate for angling down/up you projector. Just get the projector more 'level' and avoid using keystone.- this mounts from a SINGLE centred screw hole, not 2-3 holes spaced out like bigger/traditional projectors, so you might need a more specific mount that accommodates for such a setup

Arrived much faster than expected, great brightness and quality for the price. Keystone correction blurs the edges a bit but minor gripe.

Great picture quality, excellent brightness even during the day. Good value for Money and delivered promptly.

Picture quality not bad but many processes for make projector ready to watch movie. I don’t recommend. I recommend projector with battery.
