our office has used xerox printers for as long as I can recall and we only put the expensive cartridges into the printer to make sure the life is as good as can be (i mean who wants to save a little money on ink and ruin their printer?). Well I found this for our office the other day and waaaa-llaaaa! Xerox ink like i get from our normal guy on the phone, just with a little key thingy to install it. I'm baffled how this isnt used more wide-spread but once you do it, you'll never go back to paying all that money for the same product in a different box. The plastic key took no time and im as brain dead (lol) as it comes with electronics but the video link on the instruction sheet was very descriptive and clear. Try it out for your pocket's sake.

The main problem is the installation of the color cube to the printer. Rather than ghat I belive it is genuine.

I used this product in my Xerox 8550. Everything seemed fine and then it quit working. The printer reported a paper jam but there was none. Researching I found that the ink waste tray was empty. Talking with several repair techs confirmed that the ink destroyed the print heads and they cost more than the printer. So beware. Is this compatible with your printer? It surely destroyed a printer that I loved. So now saving a few dollars will end up costing me a thousand or more.

the key was very simple to use and all the ink went in with no problems, except for the yellow. I run a real estate business where time is money and I had to call to troubleshoot. They answered immediately and walked me through the installation and had it working in two minutes. Highly recommended!

Personally, i thought that this is the best hidden secret i've found for my printer yet. The key that was included is Genius! The inks fit in perfect in my printer with the use of the kit that was included and i'm saving big $$ on my printer now. Marvelous little trick!

Key is easy to use. Color looks good. Can't verify if last as long on paper as xerox brand does.

This ink RUINED my Xerox Color Cube printer. I called Professor Color who insisted that it was a coincidence that when I used their ink my printer started functioning improperly. There are streaks on every page and occasionally a pile of shredded printing material comes out on a printed page. The insides of my entire printer are covered with these shavings from the ink. I called Xerox who said it would be cheaper to replace the printer. The Professor Color representative insisted that the ink was genuine Xerox ink from different countries.Thank God Amazon is taking care of me as a customer because Professor Color could care less that my printer is RUINED.

I bought Xerox Color Cube 8570 replacements from ProfessorColor.com. I didn't realize I had to use your cardboard sticks ("bypass key system device)8570 to override the Xerox only replacement deterrents. the cardboard worked on 3 or 4 colors. The 4th one is now "locked" and won't allow be to put Xerox cubes or the Professor Color cubes into it.

I was a bit worried as I have had others that the key did not work. You may be able to add only one at a time. If you get an error message just turn off the printer and turn it back on. Then add another one. That is what I found to work as it says it is over the starter cube amount. But the key worked great and printer is up and running. I am happy with results.
