Bought this for my husband, often cold at night - loved the dual controls as I often don't use my side, nice quality. Has 10 heat setting but he rarely goes above 3.

This is a very nice heated mattress pad with all of the features I was looking for. Most importantly, it is comfortable to sleep on. There are separate controls for each side, so I can stay toasty warm while my partner stays cooler. The cords are long and plug in at the bottom rather than on top of the mattress. The pad heats quickly and seems to heat fairly evenly. The controls are easy to use and remember the last setting used, so once you find the temperature and timing you prefer, you don't need to keep resetting it. The little screen lights up briefly when you first turn a controller on, then it shuts off, which can make it challenging to adjust settings in the dark, but is nice if you are very sensitive to light while you sleep.

Took a while to get here. Got it today. Put it in the bed and turned it on.Setting for heat goes up to 10. I put it on 5 and checked it about 15 minutes later. Very warm. Turned it back to 3 to start.Temp controls are easy to use unless you're old and can't see. I don't believe they light up which makes them even harder to see. They do work well.Comfort yet to be determined. It's waterproof so it has plastic on it. Kind of noisy. With a flannel sheet on it will probably help.Pain relief: Don't know yet. I bought this for my mom to help her keep warm. She does have problems with her hips so we'll see if it helps.Seems to be well made and fit mattress pretty good. Not a very thick mattress so not sure how it would fit on a pillow top or some thicker mattresses.Would buy again. I didn't give 5 stars because I just received it and it hasn't been use yet. May do an update later.UPDATEMy mom loves it. She said it does help a little with pain. It mostly helps keep her warm and helps her relax (which helps with pain).I recommend this product.

It warms up very fast, I set it to "10" a few minutes before laying on it, then I set it to 1 and sleep very comfortable. I tried sleeping on it a 2, 3 and 4 but I woke up sweating every time, so for me "1" is the magic temp to sleep.Very comfortable! I was afraid the wires were going to be a problem, but I can't even feel them when I lay on it.+++Light goes completely off 2 seconds after pushing any button. Perfect for those who can't sleep if there is light in the room.I prefer the bedroom nice and warm, and sleep with a blanket on me; my spouse likes it cold (54 to 58 degrees) with satin sheets. After years of disagreement we bought this mattress pad and the bed problem is solved, just like that!

During the past 30 years or so I’ve used several mattress warmers from various manufacturers. None have even come close to matching the performance of this Serta! The controls are easy to use and set, and the heat transference is phenomenal I typically turn the warmer on about 20 minutes before going to bed. When I turn my top sheets down and get in, the sensation is like sliding into a warm glove. Although the heat settings range from 1 - 10, a 1 is more than adequate for my comfort level. I gave one of these units as a gift to a friend and they report identical results. This product should easily exceed your expectations. Great buy!

Works great. Heats Up very fast. Light comes on when you touch the buttons. Light goes of in less than 30 seconds. Highly recommend this product.

Frankly the number 1 heater setting is plenty warm to take the chill off. Waterproof too. Fits my king mattress perfectly.

Controller defaults to off when power disconnected. I previously had a Beautyrest blanket that defaulted to on. This allowed connection to a timer to set to preheat the bed. Now I have to remember to turn the blanket on well before I want to go to bed. I only use this to preheat the bed and turn it off as soon as I get in. Would also prefer if the heat went closer to the ends to warm foot area.
