Kauai Tropical Syrup Hawaiian Haupia Luau Pudding Squares, 8 Ounce

Fast and easy to prepare and amazingly delicious.

These are so delicious and easy to make! I had them at a luau in Kauai and wanted to try making them at home. I followed the directions exactly on the package and they turned out perfect. All you do is add water!

On here is it a lot more costly than if you buy directly in Hawaii. But anyways.... this is pretty easy to make and very tasty. But I recommend eating it when it is warm is when it tastes the best!

My kids recently caught COVID (mild cases, thankfully), and we had to spend 3 weeks locked down at home. Last summer while we were stuck for the entirety, I had come up with a series of theme weeks to keep them entertained and from being on devices all the time: Japan week, Christmas in July, etc. I thought I'd do the same thing during our quarantine, only day versions. One thing we wanted to do was "Hawaii/tropical day." I figured we'd eat some Hawaiian-style dishes, watch Moana and old surf movies, and drink out of cups with those little umbrellas. I even ordered inflatable palm trees. For the food, I was intrigued by this mix. I've sadly not had the opportunity to go to Hawaii, so I can't speak to luau authenticity, but my son and I love anything coconut. I figured it was worth a try! This was incredibly easy to make. It sets up to a consistency similar to Jello, and you cut it into soft squares. I couldn't quite get nice sharp edges as pictured, but it could be our humidity or some such other issue. It is absolutely delicious, saturated in coconut flavor. I will warn you: if you have a kid (or adult) who has food texture sensitivities, they might struggle. My daughter was fine with the flavor, but couldn't get down with the texture. My son and I had no issues. It was wonderful!

I was a little leary of purchasing because of a few reviews, but if you go by the directions perfectly it turns out great. I did add a few drops of coconut flavoring as it wasn’t as flavored as I like. In one batch I tried pineapple flavoring just to see how that would taste and it was delicious too.

I used coconut Milk (SoDelicious, unsweetened) instead of water. Amazing flavor and texture, how have I not lived until now. I mixed in coconut flakes in one batch and taro powder in another. Next time I will make it with fresh mango on top. It takes less than 5 mins to cook. Made in Hawaii. The cost was decent but I'd say one bag is about 4 servings instead of the 8 servings quoted. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WHISK :-) It's Delicious!!

Quick and easy for making haupia sweet potato pie. Very delicious perfect coconut taste

This was the first time our family ever tried this product. It was simple to make. The flavor was very mild, I would have liked a bit more coconut flavor. The texture was a bit strange for us, A bit to gelatinous for us. I made it on a shortbread base with homemade whipped cream and topped with toasted coconut. I may make it again in the summer if we have a Hawaiian themed bbq.
