My wife bought a climbing mandevilla plant so we looked for a light weight trellis that could fit safely in a large pot and provide a frame for the plant to grow on. When I ordered this I somehow missed that it was used and was not happy when I realized that. IMO Amazon should make that fact more apparent on the item page. Anyway it was significantly delayed in shipping to the point where I was told the order could and would be canceled...then is arrived the next day.I was going to immediately return it but I could not find one that looked better on Amazon or had positive reviews. So I opened the box and put it together.Positives:-Lightweight but seemingly sturdy enough for a "light" plant-decent covering on the metal-good height (6ft)-nice visual design-can be taken apart and placed in original box for seasonal storage- most importantly, my wife likes itNegatives:-Poorly engineered - the ends slip-on each piece and the covering may get frayed on the ends...somewhat difficult with connecting a couple of the parts. Would much prefer screw on connections.-Cheap plastic rings, need to be careful not to snap them-Ornamental top piece is cheap plastic, but unless holding it does not look badAfter assembly I thought I overpaid for it, but to be honest it looks good now and has not had any structural issues. If a squirrel jumps on it the rings will definitely come off or break but barring a squirrel attack it should be OK.The plant is growing beautifully and I have to say looks nice.

This was exactly what my delphinium needed and adds an architechtural element to the garden. Easy to assemble, great price.

Plastic and not very sturdy. Wasn’t expecting perfection but I can get iron sets that are more sturdy at Lowe’s or Home Depot for less money. These are going back.

This trellis was really simple to assemble. I was able to assemble it in five minutes. Everything just clicks together and you don’t need any additional tools. The connection pieces are metal to metal. And there is a plastic sheet that goes over the connection to keep it tight and water proof. All of the horizontal pieces snap on very easily. Once you get them on you’re able to adjust the heights. It’s really thick and strong. I was surprised that the diameter of the trellis was approximately the size of my index finger. The finial on top is made of plastic so it is not going to rust or corrode. And the finial is pretty substantial in size as well.I especially like the fact that the horizontal pieces could be adjustable once I get them in the ground. That way once my plant starts to climb I can slide them up if needed to be spaced out more appropriately as the plant grows. It also has enclosed pointed ends at the bottom so when I do drive it into the ground it’s going to go in much easier and I’m not going to get my trellis filled with dirt through the poles.I’m extremely pleased at the quality of this product for the price. I also really appreciate that it was super easy to assemble.

Plastic but looks good and fast assembly and sturdy

I seem to have gotten a new/alternate version of the top of this trellis. Instead of 2 U shaped pieces, I received 4 curved bars that are supposed to connect to a cross joint at the top. But, the diameter of the bars are bigger than the openings of the connector. I have contacted to seller and am awaiting a reply. Will have to return if a new piece is not sent. Otherwise, it seems like a decent quality trellis and has been easy to assemble the rest of the trellis.

This a great dome shaped trellis for my tomatoes. It keeps the stems going upright without taking too much space and helps keep my garden tidy. The material is very lightweight and is just enough for plants to rely on. The set up was bare minimum and didn't really take more than a couple minutes.
