LEGO 76902 Speed Champions McLaren Elva Racing CarMy 10 year old son really enjoyed building this model of the McLaren Elva, took him about an hour to build, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. He took quite a few photos and placed them into a video so you can see it getting built in various stages.There's 263 parts in this set which seems a lot but it's soon put together, in the construction booklet there's 65 steps to complete with a few stickers to apply to the Lego parts. You also get a two sets of wheel alloys so that you can change the look of the wheels.The McLaren Elva is a limited-production mid-engine sports car manufactured by McLaren Automotive. The car is the fifth addition in the McLaren Ultimate Series, joining the F1, the P1, Senna, and the Speedtail. The open-top sports car is inspired by the open top racers cars developed by Bruce McLaren in the 1960s. If you were to buy the real car than it would cost over one and a half million dollars for the basic model, so I think this Lego version works out a bit more cheaper :)Overall, a solid looking car that my son's proud of, he's very happy to recommend it!

This set has numbered bags, numbers 1 and 2.A small sticker sheet. Instructions are easy to follow. An easy and enjoyable build. Children should have no problem with this build. A small mini figure (driver) is included. First Lego car I have constructed which does not support a windscreen. Low profile tires are factory fitted to the rims.In conclusion: A worthy investment, will not dissapoint. McLaren is durable and sturdy. Could be played with once completed.

This is exactly as I'd expect from looking at the box, so no surprises at all. I just am not keen on the model and design of the car. Compared with the real thing, they've done a reasonable job of scaling it down to mini-fig size. The build is simple and instructions are clear. I like the wheels with these 8-wide speed champions. Overall, certainly not my favourite speed champions, but fairly unique.

I love Lego and the speed champion sets are great, if you like building Lego, you’ll love this set, it’s not a build what you want like I did as a kid, but you end up with a Mclaren Elva model, not just a brick car, I thoroughly enjoyed building it.

Purchased as a Christmas present for a 6 year old Lego fanatic. Was very well received. Wellmm no packaged with clear instructions
