I'm a freelance illustrator/designer with a BFA in illustration from the Art Center College of Design, and will paint a watercolor and ink portrait of the Person of your choice based on a photograph that you send me. The painting takes about 2 or 3 weeks to make, possibly longer if there are several days of dialogue involved regarding what you would like/any changes made from the photo. The paintings are all ink and watercolor. Requests for a different medium can not be made. The reference photograph that you send must be high resolution, 300 dpi at minimum (if it is too small the photo may be too grainy and pixelated to make out much detail.) and fairly large. Taking a photo with HDR on on your iPhone should be a sufficient quality photo. If you have any changes that you would like made to the painting that are not in the photo (ex. make the shirt blue instead of red), please notify me at the time of your purchase. Please note that while you will own the original painting based on the reference photo you provide, I will retain the copyright of the image. Reproducing the painting you have purchased for profit will be a violation of copyright. It is possible that the reference photo you provide will be used in conjunction with the finished painting on self promotional posts to my website, Facebook art page, etsy listing, etc. If you would not like the photo you provide used in this way please notify me.
