Aquaman McFarlane Toys continues their development of action figures for the DC Extended Universe by making action figures for Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie. Unlike the previous two DCEU movies which released one or two action figures, this collection is a solid six, with twice the exclusive variants. There is no Build-A-Figure, but this collection doesn’t need one. This collection begins with Aquaman. Arthur Curry is the Aquaman. Having premiered as a cameo in Batman v. Superman Dawn of Justice, he got to appear more fully as a character in Justice League. With the lineage of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis flowing through his veins, he works hard to protect the world with his power. Found by Batman to help him stop a great threat, he refuses, but it’s those closest to him that encourage him to fight back. Standing at 7.5 inches tall with the same articulation as other McFarlane Toys action figures, and resembling the character’s appearance from the movies appearance in the tunnel fight, Superman returns, to the final battle. Accessories include the stand and the trident, which measures 8.75 inches long. Cyborg McFarlane Toys continues their development of action figures for the DC Extended Universe by making action figures for Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie. Unlike the previous two DCEU movies which released one or two action figures, this collection is a solid six, with twice the exclusive variants. No Build-A-Figure, but this collection doesn’t need one. This collection continues with Cyborg. Victor Stone is the Cyborg. Having premiered as a cameo in Batman v. Superman Dawn of Justice, he got to appear more fully as a character in Justice League. Having been severely injured in an accident, Silas Stone uses the power of an alien artifact to save the life of his son Victor; in doing so he becomes more machine than man. With the power to understand the artifact, he seeks out superheroes wanting to unite against a dangerous threat. Standing at 7.25 inches tall with the same articulation as other McFarlane Toys action figures and resembling the character’s appearance from the movies appearance in the tunnel fight, Superman’s return, to the final battle. Accessories include the stand and the arm cannon. I only wish for additional accessories from extra arms to a minigun mount. The Flash McFarlane Toys continues their development of action figures for the DC Extended Universe by making action figures for Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie. Unlike the previous two DCEU movies which released one or two action figures, this collection is a solid six, with twice the exclusive variants. No Build-A-Figure, but this collection doesn’t need one. This collection continues with the Flash. Barry Allen is the Flash. Having premiered as a cameo in Batman v. Superman Dawn of Justice and then later in Suicide Squad, he got to appear more fully as a character in Justice League. Having been soaked with chemicals and struck by lightning he channels a source of energy known as the Speed Force, gaining the power to run near the speed of light. Having been found out by a superhero out to recruit him, he accepts immediately. Standing at an even 7 inches tall with the same articulation as other McFarlane Toys action figures and resembling the character’s appearance from the movies appearance at the Bat Signal, Superman’s return, to the final battle. Accessories include the stand and four blue lightning streaks that can be pinned to the limbs. I only wish for either an unmasked accessory or an unmasked variant. Superman McFarlane Toys continues their development of action figures for the DC Extended Universe by making action figures for Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie. Unlike the previous two DCEU movies which released one or two action figures, this collection is a solid six, with twice the exclusive variants. No Build-A-Figure, but this collection doesn’t need one. This collection ends with Superman. Superman Returns. Having been killed fighting off the machinations of Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman, he returns for the Justice League. His death signals three powerful alien artifacts to alert the Dark New Gods to come to Earth to be claimed. Despite having recruited heroes, Batman and the rest of the Justice League decide to use the boxes to bring back Superman to save the world. They succeed but end up having to wait for him to get engaged, and he does in a brand-new black suit. Standing 7.50 inches tall with the same articulation as other McFarlane Toys action figures and resembling the character’s appearance from the Kryptonian ship and the fight against Steppenwolf. Included as an accessory is a specialized clear stand that allows the figure to hover, given its Superman, he must go up, up, and away. While I do enjoy Superman's black suits, I appreciate it more if they make the traditional red and blue suit. I also prefer a cloth cape; the plastic cape inhibits movement. So ends this collection, and while I enjoy that they made more than the last two films, I wish they added more. A better version of Wonder Woman, the parademons, Queen Hippolyta and her soldiers, Atlanteans, Mera, as well as the warriors in the ancient battle scene. And in the case of this version of the movie, Martian Manhunter and maybe even Deathstroke.
