Q: I bought this cable with the obdlink lx and it does not connect to my 2015 s1000rr. is there some settings i need to change in the app?

You need to download the app motoscan onto a android phone. (Not iPhone). You can use the free app or pay for more functions. It works but not flawless.

Q: Will this work with newer 2023 motorcycles?

Worked on my 2009 F800GS but the later ones dont need this style adapter
