Holds 5 gallons and everything you need is in the kit. If the large cap had a gasket, the small drip when the container is moved on its side would be eliminated.

Very good and easy to use. Tank will hold plenty of antifreeze enough to do the job, i have 50hp 3 cyl. mercury motor and only need to fill the kit with 2 gallons of antifreeze to flush the motor. The kit is awesome and has a CLEAR hose and cut-off and supply valves on the supply hose and tank that make it easy to properly flush motor. I then flush out kit by removing "ears" from boat motor and leaving it all hooked up and once flushed clean store and reuse. The tank has a little breather cap that helps. The clear hose is long enough for me that I was able to cut it in half and have an extra hose after buying some hose end parts.The clear hose helps a lot to know precisely when the antifreeze gets in motor so you can watch for it to come out the weep hole.Kit is just enough quality to where youre not paying a lot to keep cost down, so you cant be real rough while handling it especially after being filled, but will still last for years if you store it in a basment or somewhere.This kit is Dave approved!

Great product that will save me a lot of money every fall winterizing my boat as opposed to having the marina do it. Simple to use and effective.

Winterizing your boat seems simple enough, there are youtube videos that are simple and easy to watch and yo can do it for a fraction of the cost that a boat/engine mechanic would charge you. so save your self some money for years to come by winterizing yourself.

Works good needs a male end on t to work as intended instead of shutting hose off

I had some trouble with the container cap wanting to leak. I had to tighten it to the point I was afraid it was going to break to get it to seal, but other that it is a very nice kit. I have used multiple winterizing techniques over the years and this is by far the easiest and simplest one .. definitely worth buying !

It works as intended

Easy to set up... worked like a champ to winterize my boat's engine. Filled it with 5 gallons of -100F Marine/RV anti-freeze... ran the engine for 10 to 15 minutes with water to make sure thermostat was open, then turned the valve to release the anti-freeze. All done in a few minutes. This is not the only thing to do in the winterization process, but it makes this part easy.

This unit works well. It is the right capacity for flush and fill of your cooling system in the fall. Simply fill it with two big jugs of antifreeze, hook up the hose to your ears and put on your leg, then hook your garden hose to the tank valve (make sure you have your valves closed) and then start to run water from hose through by pass valve into ears and leg. You run your motor and watch your thermostat. It will begin to rise as your motor runs with water running through it. In a few minutes you will see the needle in the gauge drop a few degrees (or notch) as the thermostat opens up and water begins flushing through the entire system with thermostat open. At this point you can close your by pass valve, and open the tank valve, (make sure the vent cap is open) and then watch the antifreeze flush the system. You will soon see antifreeze coming out of your leg rather than water. Once this happens I run the engine, until the tank is almost empty flushing the system well. Turn off the engine, turn off the tank valve, remove your ears and you are done. Easy Cheesy. Go have a beverage.

Everything worked really well. Made winterizing the engine on my boat painless. It doesnt come put together so you just have to make sure to set up the valves correctly to make the T, which is no problem.

Simple to use and works well. Takes 5 gallons of plumbing antifreeze and when it enters the system you can be assured all water is out by the color of the discharge and when you drain it.
